Requires reader attention

The storyline jumps from new characters to old ones without a proper transition. I had to focus on names and places to prevent getting confused. The introduction of so many characters was a bit confusing, and I had to rewind from the last narration to catch up.
I don't quiet get the relevancy of the human "Indie", and also how Noah and Heath reactioned to her or I might be a bit confused there. I think there were too many things going on in this book. It think the author was just tired of the series and just want to wrap it up. Yet , I think a mother book is warranted to explain Gils and Dana. What became of them?
Overall, I still love this series.

i love this series

I love the Sentinel/Pyte series but I believe this one is the best so far. Not only does it have vampires and shifters, it has undying love, hate and sacrifice. It kept me on the edge and made me want to cry from sorrow and love.

a little confusing, but I am still a fan

I have listened to the entire Pyte/Sentinel series thus far, and it is one of my favorites. I adore the characters. There are many laugh out loud moments with Mathewson's books, and that's the reason why I listen to them. They lift my heart. Many of the other reviews mentioned the story was all over the place. It is. You have to have read the other books in the series to not be lost. Even having read all the books, it took a minute to understand what was happening. It was like a soap opera, switching from the main characters to side characters that are still pivotal to the story. I wish Mathewson would have given each segment a lead in, like give the main character the segment is about and where it was taking place. I have listened to other authors that have used that technique when the settings changed rapidly. It made it easier to follow. Still I am a big fan of the series and looking forward to next installment of the series.

Loved it

I love the you brought Jill back into it but not so much that Logan was the one she is with. I almost stopped listening after the last one because it was disappointing to me. This one made up for it. On the the next.

favorite series

Another awesome book. Sad, joyful, exciting, and sexy. What more could you ask for! Can't wait to dive into the next book in the series.

I love... just wish now that there are so many new and old characters that we could get a few new voices. just too much... who, what...
