Masterful Narration

I wasn’t sure what to expect but I enjoyed this audio book.
The narration was exceptional - I could listen over and over again. The characters really cane to life.

Boy, Aerie can sure take it back all right!

What an action-packed fun story to listen to, really enjoyed the listen.
Great characters, awesome story, great writing and awesome narration make this one a great listen, definitely recommended! :)

A great urban fantasy

I must say, I really quite enjoyed this one. The narration is really well done and the story is just fun. There is a good amount of action and some very quirky characters. I think this is a great urban fantasy story and one I would definitely follow as a series.

Wild ride

I received this book for free at my request but the following review is of my own. This book is definitely a wild ride that doesn’t let go from the very beginning. aerie wants the new job at her dads shop but instead it seems she is always making him angry by losing things even though she’s great at what she does. Suddenly she’s possessed by her mother’s spirit which she’s only heard negative things about, but there is a hidden agenda and secrets that have been kept from her.

Urban fantasy

Join Aerie as she sets out on a dangerous journey to show Pop she is an invaluable repo worker. At the same time she's possessed by the spirit of her mother, who even on a good day is annoying and obnoxious.
I couldn't stop listening to this audible once I started. I absolutely love this story and am hoping for more to come.
Shelley Reese is amazing with her narration. I had no problem following the story and keeping the characters as individuals with there own personalities. I really enjoyed listening to her and am looking forward to more

Pleasant Enjoyable Mystery

Straight up I liked this book! I was given a copy for my humble thoughts and I have nothing but praise for the book. Magical repo what a great concept! A genuine person and a girl to boot, worked wonderfully! Narration was good, making the suspenseful moments sound suspenseful, you did good Shelley Reece. I would read more of Aerie's story, I think shes got a lot of open space for a series if you decide to venture that way Mr Krafton :)

Easy, entertaining mystery

This is the first book I’ve read/listened to by this author and I would listen to another.
I’m unsure if this is the beginning of a series. It seems to me there could be more books.
The publisher’s summary says enough, I don’t need to reiterate. This book has a nice little mystery (finding out who is in the amulet) and with that comes the characters that aren’t what/who they seem to be. It is an entertaining, uncomplicated listen.

This is the first book I’ve listened to by this narrator ( Shelley Reece ) and I would listen to another. She does a great job giving each character a distinct voice and personality her narration style is great and sucks you into the book.

There are no explicit sex scenes, or excessive violence. There is swearing.

Highly Recommend

Takin' It Back tells Aerie's Journey - it is fast paced and filled with wonderfully in depth characters that you quickly become invested in. The authors world building and descriptive writing make you feel as if you are seeing the story unfold. The narrator did a great job bringing the story and characters to life. I hope the author does a sequel and continues Aerie's journey
