Publisher's summary

Adam was a TV star and teen idol in the 1950s and ‘60s. Everyone expected him to become a movie star, but his career fizzled out after the end of his series. In 2021, he’s an old man in his 80s, giving VIP tours at Paramount Studios, when something extraordinary happens and he finds himself in a place that shouldn’t exist. His situation becomes increasingly bizarre, and when he finally returns home, it’s no longer 2021, but 1961, the year his series ended. Adam Bluestone has a unique opportunity to live his life again.

Great read/listen

I really enjoyed this fun take on Groundhog Day! Very enjoyable and clever. The narrator, Jerry Bradshaw did an excellent job of bringing each character to life!

Maturity at It’s best.

As a senior, this story resonated to me. It dealt with the aging process and gave dignity and respect to seniors. I felt that it also said young in thinking at any age if you so choose. It also covered ought have, could have and should have. Something that we all would like do, go back in time and make better choices. Audiobook done in 1 day.

Unusual story.

First of all, this narrator is totally awesome! He doesn't sound boring, he brings the story to life and fills your imagination!
The story itself is unusual and kinda strange. but overall, it's a good story. Getting hit by lightning, and going back in time? that would kinda neat, (except the getting hit by lightning part)
The author is good, he does write good books, and he keeps the listeners (like me) that keep coming back for more!

Good Read

As is the case with many of Roeder's books, this was narrated by the golden-throated Jerry Bradshaw. He sang in this one, which is just such a treat.
A lot about the precursor to this book, Falling Star, left me sad. It was lovely to see Adam get a second chance to make things go differently. It was a very satisfying journey to go on. In fact, one might say it was the most.
