Take Me Cowboy

This is easily one of the top 10 best books I've listened to. It has everything essential to a really good romance. It will make you want to cry, it will make you laugh out loud! And some really HOT sex scenes. I fell in love with Chase and Anna, cheered for them, laughed with them and cried for them. This is one (ADULT) romance you don't want to miss out on.

Lillian Thayer is an excellent narrator. Her voice is pleasant and a joy to listen to. The voices she uses for her characters are consistent throughout the story. The emotions you hear while she reads adds so much to the story.

Sweet and sexy

This was a sweet and sexy western romance. You will not be disappointed if you like that kind of story. I will look at other books by author Maisey Yates. Narrator Lillian Thayer was very good. She's very easy to understand and her character voices were good. I would recommend this book to a friend.

Awesome!!!

Lillian Thayer is probably no absolutely the best narrator that I have ever experienced. Combine that to a great story that kept my interest from beginning to end, it was a fantastic reading experience. I read about 6 to 8 books a week and that is a lot of books! This by far was fantastic. Thank you Lillian, you rock.

Narrator ruined the female lead

I really like this writer’s stories. The characters are well developed and the story flows nicely. However, this narrator has ruined the books in this series with her whinny nasal voice. She makes every female character sound like a stuck up, annoying, whinny adolescent that doesn’t get enough attention. The way she comes off makes me dislike the character despite the way the character is written, which I would like, without this voice. If you can stand the voice, this is a pretty good friends to lovers romance.

Take Me, Cowboy

Chase and Anna have been friends since childhood. He was a playboy. She a nondescript mechanic. She has heard all about his ways with the women. She has had only one man in her life. It was not all that great. But when her brothers dare her to get a date for an upcoming gala she turns to her friend for help. He volunteered to school her in the ways a woman gets her man. But what starts out as help turns out so much more. Both have had feelings for the other but have ignored it to save the life long friendship. But will it become more or will it break them apart? The narrator was ok but the story line was so cliche in to many ways.
