Publisher's summary

After her disastrous marriage ends in divorce, Sarah Price comes home to Serenity, South Carolina, for a fresh start. With support from her two best friends - the newest generation of the Sweet Magnolias - the emotionally wounded single mom knows she can face any crisis.

When Sarah meets handsome stranger Travis McDonald on one of her shifts at Wharton’s Diner, she’s intrigued by his flattering words. But her battered self-confidence makes it hard for her to take him at face value, and she isn’t certain if she’s ready to trust again. But Travis is intent on getting Sarah to work at his fledgling radio station...and on giving their relationship a chance.

Sarah has learned she can’t trust sweet words alone. Starting a new relationship may be just what she needs, but first she must decide if she’s ready to risk her heart again.

awesome book series

love this writer. weaves a story of friendship, love and romance from three women initially. Branches out with friends and their family. They are known as the Sweet magnolias, were love goes to bloom . various sound artist, with their voices, makes the story come alive as your driving your long drives to work.

Good

I thought this was a good book even though I knew how the story would end. However, I think Sara was unfair to Travis. She played with him too much and it was irritating. However, the other storyline was a nice touch.

Too Sweet Tea

For most part the book decent. The narrator is great. The only EXCEPTION is the over use of the word “incredulous”. This was the same case with the previous book in the series. Please get a thesaurus already. I really want to like this series, but this excessive use of vocabulary is distracting to a reader. Out of frustration, we actually made a game of counting the word, etc. just to get through the story.

Great Narration

The narrator did a fantastic job on this book! It was a good story. Brought me a laugh and a tear. I would recommend this book and the series to friends. I like how clean they are. Just enough but not to much.

Narrator brings stories to life.

This narrator makes you feel the story through each character’s voice. So well done I would rather listen then read the actual novel.
