interesting and fun
throughout the first book I had my reservations as the Sci-Fi and the superheroes were a mixed bag.
being a fan of both I had no problem with it.
it was definitely hard to put down and had a slew of new and interesting concepts.
I am aware that the book has to go on to the next.... but a major cliffhanger right at the end of the second book was not fun at all.... especially since it seems that audible does not have the next book available to read....
so unfortunately I will put it on the back burner and wait for the next one to come out.
anyone with an interest in sci-fi and some with an interest in superpowers.... as a superpowers are not conventionally done will enjoy this book.
I am very much hoping that they will mention standard superheroes and not just the superheroes that are created with the metal, or treated like science projects and forced to inject the metals..... although it is looking like from the last bonus chapter that the metal is the only reason for superpowers in this universe. Fin'

Interesting premise. An alien world littered with the metallic corpses of ancient inhabitants, still imbued with their essence. This volume has slow pacing in one chapter, which should have been edited down. B or B+ otherwise.

Each one getting better! Pulp fun!
I listen to books while doing work around my house. I love these as they are entertaining and easy listens. Good action, good story, great way to spend an afternoon or two! Characters keep getting better and the story is taking better shape as it goes!
