This course is designed to be a first-year high school chemistry course. The course covers significant figures, units, classification, the mole concept, stoichiometry, thermochemistry, thermodynamics, kinetics, acids and bases, redox reactions, solutions, atomic structure, Lewis structures, molecular geometry, the gas laws, and equilibrium. Requires the completion of algebra 1 as a prerequisite.

Every chapter seems to draw superfluous biblical references and "praise Jesus" statements. If you're not religious it gets not just old, but aggravating very quickly. There should be a subtitle and descriptive note about the religious context throughout the lectures.
Candice Jones at least has a very pleasant voice and simple style of conveying scientific information. Unfortunately, that same style applied to religious proselytizing only serves to make the narration offensive and grating on the nerves.
Inspiration at first at having found an Audible Chemistry lecture series to make the class more palatable. Then frustrating once the proselytizing started.
There is a lot of useful information, but the propaganda without scientific support makes me distrust the author's ability to make rational conclusions. You could replace God with Cthulu at each part and come to the same conclusion. Our Dark Lord wants to breed a race to drive insane and thus gave us the perfect conditions to grow before he rises from the sea to reap our terror! I don't see how anyone can deny the balance of O2 in our atmosphere to anyone but Cthulu. Unless of course we came to exist by probability, but who could believe in Math and the vastness of the Universe when you can attribute everything to Cthulu?
