Will brings the characters to life and Leo's story draws you in like no other! slight issues with the recording but no deal breakers

Great book if the next one cleans up it's mess

Ok. So, this author and narrator have thus far provided experiences and plots that were well thought out, well delivered, and though things have usually worked out in the end, had at least one emotionally charged uncertain situation requiring nail biting or expletives shouted at the sky (from listeners) per book. Storm bound is no different, the situation in question just happened to be nearer to the end this time and Mr Petracci decided that the safe guards the characters had in place to fix things later needed to be knocked over the head and left in a hospital bed with amnesia just to make sure we all knew nothing in life or these books is certain. Based on past books I believe things with the characters will work out some how and I will definitely be waiting for the next book to answer how.

4 Stars across the board. The story is unique even if it contains some common tropes. It has never felt slapped together, in any of the books, even if it has sometimes felt extra random in terms of content or characters. The missing fifth star is do to my love of world building - which this series so far refuses to do beyond a relatively small bubble surrounding the main characters. The narration is also good; the narrator makes very few errors and is deliberate about conveying the story. That said I never really felt absorbed into the story while listening - due to pacing or tone I'm not sure.
