Love it!

I absolutely enjoyed this book! I always wanted to know what everyone’s thoughts were during specific moments in many many books. Although it’s difficult to include every character’s thoughts, it definitely enhances the storyline in some cases.
This book did just that for me. It was a joy to know what Ash & Lyre were thinking, doing, & feeling during certain scenes in the book series. Plus I always wanted to know what conversations Ash had with his dragonette.
It’s a wonderful collection of short stories that just added to the story & I hope there would be more of this type of stories for other books series in Annette Marie’s collection.
Thank you so much for sharing this entire series with us. I can’t wait to hear more from Piper, Ash, & Lyre soon.
And yes, I still want a dragonette as my companion! But I guess ny beautiful black cat will do…for now. :)

love

The five books from Ash and Lyres point of view. The best scenes looked at again from our boys view is glorious! Reading this again and again makes me really happy. I mean really, really happy! When I want to re-visit this world but I don't have time to read the whole series, I read this book.

Perfect Addition

This companion of short stories is the perfect addition to the Steel & Stone Series. I have really grown to enjoy dual points of view in a book, and this book adds the perspective that is missing through the series. You most assuredly need to listen to this one as well!!!

Disappointed.

I forced myself to listen to this book because I’ve loved all the others in the series. It was mainly just repeating all the books and not a lot of point of views from the male characters. Just boring.

It's too bad....

I was looking forward to this collection of stories from Ash and Lyre's perspective, but the format did really detract from the overall enjoyment. By having just a collection instead of working them into a full narrative it's just too disjointed to enjoy as much as the original works unlike Warrior by Karen Lynch or Hudson by Laurelin Paige which also gave the male's perspective (summing up a series of books originally told by the female protagonist). The narrator was wonderful but because the story wasn't engaging, I found myself being put to sleep to his dulcet tones.
