Editorial reviews

Fans of the Atlanta Falcons will be overjoyed by these vignettes, compiled by Matt Winkeljohn, of a once-inept franchise that has turned into a reliable powerhouse in the NFC South. Charles Carroll performs with an appropriately wry edge when describing some of the wackiest moments in Falcons history, such as an astronaut's attempt to sway Tommy Nobis to sign with the Houston Oilers instead. Tales from the Atlanta Falcons Sideline is an amusing and enlightening listen that allows die-hard fans the chance to reminisce while informing newer fans of their team's sometimes checkered history.

A Fun Listen for any Atlanta Falcons fan.

This book is a great stroll down memory lane for Falcons fan. The only complaint I have is the narrator. He has a wonderful voice but dear god do research on the names of the people you mention. The list of players names that he butchers is long. Very long. I found myself yelling at the narrator over and over and over again as he mispronounced yet another name. Bobby Hebert, Nick Mike-Mayer, Tim Mazzetti, Erric Pegram, Fulton Kuykendall, and Paul Tagliabue to name just a few. Otherwise it was amazing.
