Publisher's summary

Carlo Ancelotti is one of the greatest managers of all time, with five Champions League titles to his name. Yet his approach could not be further from the aggressive theatricals favoured by many of his rivals. His understated style has earned him the fierce loyalty of players like David Beckham, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Cristiano Ronaldo.

In Quiet Leadership, Ancelotti reveals the full riveting story of his managerial career - his methods, mentors, mistakes and triumphs - and takes us inside the dressing room to trace the characters, challenges and decisions that have shaped him. The result is both a scintillating memoir and a rare insight into the business of leadership.

Candy for any leader who also loves football.

I completed this book in less than 24hrs. It was completely engaging, a very honest work. It was very refreshing to find an extremely successful man who knew his 'quiet' strengths and stuck to them. The leadership principles in the book are very solid but have also been integrated seamlessly into the practical the experiences of Carlo.

Excellent oversight from Carlo

I really loved the story line. Quite an excellent read on how to manage a team of different talented people quietly and just getting on with results.

Great book!!

It is a great book with many teaching and stories of leadership. His style of management is unique and his experience gives a wider perspective how high level sports and business deal.

I’m huge fan of coach Carlo and grateful to read his book.

Awful and hated this book

This book threw out names over and over and over. I found no leadership qualities presented to speak of after listening to four chapters. A friend of mine, and I neither of us could finish this book.

stoic leader

i believe what carlo said, that the most important skill is how to make connection with people, and how to make them comfortable so they can be the best version of himself

The best in the business

Thoroughly enjoyed. Carlo showing why he's the greatest at building teams and driving them towards common goals. There's a lot to take away from professional sports and apply to business and relationships.
