I'm a busy stay at home Mom, with an adolescent "special needs" kiddo & my husband with MS. I love gardening, cooking, reading, and hand crafts. Being able to listen to a book while I'm doing other things (including dreadful things like housekeeping) is heavenly!
I bought this thinking it would be helpful for my 60+ self to learn new biking techs. This is NOT that; this is for competitive athletes. There are good principles to structuring one's life, especially in setting goals. It would also be good for teenagers to hear that life is earned!
PS- The narrator speaks very slowly, I increased the playback rate to 1.25. Worked great.
This book is not only too generic to claim that it is for cyclists, but also only even mentions the word "cycling" when it is dubbed into the audio. The narrator is reminiscent of an automated Text-to-Speech engine, and the dubbing in of "cycling" makes it all the more painful to listen to. This book was clearly written about a team sport and no doubt has multiple versions such as "average to amazing baseball player" and "average to amazing tennis player", etc, etc. I couldn't even listen to all 3 hours of this book because it was so awful.

This book is written for Tennis. Nothing about it relates to Cycling. The dubbed words destroy the narrative
There are many good bits of information to increase ones success and mostly nice motivation to work hard to achieve them.
The narrator voice was a very odd fit for this subject and really made the book much harder to enjoy and focus on the information.
Someone who does not know what an athlete is or what a champion is portrayed as.
Superficial, established. You don't learn anything.
Anyone who does not sound like a Robot. For awhile I thought it was a synthesized voice. It is horrible to listen to.
It seems to be read by a robot. Further investigation revealed that this is one of a series, all sharing the same title but with a single word changed. I didn't get past the introduction. This appears to be an example of self-publishing at its worst. I should have known you get what you pay for, and that a fool and his money are easily parted. I feel thoroughly ripped-off.
Nothing by this author!
If this is actually a human reading, they have achieved the most consistent monotone in history.
I had to stop listening, so am unable to say.
Can't Audible vet sub-standard products like this, to prevent us wasting our money?
"Boring - NOT RECOMMENDED"
Audio was boring, robotic, un-empathetic and generally overall dull!
Couldn't cope longer than 1/2 an hour - painful!
Boring and robotic
