The USS Seawolf was one of the greatest submarine raiders of all time. Having narrowly avoided the attack on Pearl Harbor the Seawolf set out for the seas of the Pacific to wreak havoc on Japanese shipping. Joseph Melvin Eckberg was on the Seawolf from her maiden voyage and remained with her until January 1943. Slow cooker
I found the first 30 minutes tough going until it made clear that the author was stating the official story.
The Kursk is an interesting incident. Many still believe the offical cover story. Who would think submarines would come into such close proximity.
