Grow up Julia!
First the positives. The narrator does a good job. The magical world is interesting, and the some of the characters are intriguing. Now the negatives. The main character repeatedly makes stupid, impulsive decisions. She needs to grow up. She is supposed to be a great leader and soldier, but she does stuff that is just stupid. There is a time and place for snark, but she doesn’t seem to realize or care about that. Oh, and it had another cliffhanger ending. I’m torn between continuing the series to see how many more disasters she can cause or worsen, or just finding a different series to listen to.
