My Opinion's for your review, Thank You!
This audio book by Genevieve Behrend gives her take on focusing on your dreams. I found it to be very informative but need to study it more. None the less I have high praise for anything that helps one focus to find and make their dreams come true, as long as it makes sense and is easy to understand. And this is easy to understand but there is much still to discern. The Narrator is an easy listen.
Very good book, considering the age of the material I was impressed with how relevant and thought provoking it was. The narration was clear and the voice was pleasant. However I wanted to beg the narrator to take a breath. I swear I do not know how he could speak so continuously without a pause. I felt out of breath just listening to it at times.
The content was very good however the narration was monotone; I was able to push through this short book by breaking it into even smaller reads.
There are a few good nuggets of wisdom here.
To create a life one loves, I find that I must listen to this several times a year. When I fail to remind myself and continue the practices, I go back to negative habits leading to a downward spirals. All this is written from experience. This is one of several tried and true books & authors that keep me on track.
This is a great book I've enjoyed reading but this narration is so fast you can't understand anything. He doesn't even slow down between pragraphs. He reads without any emotion and stress. Sounds more like a computer reading the book in 150bps and forget that a human will listen to this.
The book was written early in the 20th century, yet lot of the principles still appear in many of modern texts on self improvement.
He needs to read with more passion and don't come across as too scripted
Not if there are other better narrators
"Your Invisible Power"
The book is excellent but I struggled with the narrative. It was rushed, no time to take a breath, which is a shame because it is a beautiful book and should have been narrated by a woman, to depict the calm confident manner I associate with Genevieve Behrend. There were also quite a few mispronounciations that were distracting.
