When choosing this book I was hoping it wouldn't be a wishy-washy feel the vibrations type. And it was. But not in a wishy-washy way. It was honest, well written and I can truly say that I feel tremendously inspired by it. More than I was expecting to feel or even hoping to feel. I recommend this to young women.
"American Clap Trap"
Sorry I didn't like this book and whether I judged it harshly I don't know but I only listened to the first 3 chapters and that was enough the narrators voice is irritating to say the least and the story is full of Americanisms it isn't believable and it didn't help me unlike other self help books I've read .
I don't know why it has such good reviews and only bought it on the strength of that.
"Same old stuff nothing new"
Besides the clever title was a bit underwhelmed by this book. Don't think it offered anything new. Believe in yourself, the universe, stop making excuses and take action that about sums up the book. To me it was just another law of attraction book. Having said all that I liked some of the content and this book would be more suited to those just beginning a journey of self discovery. But would make a great read for first timers
"I am awesome, I am a badass"
I have just started to listen to this book for the second time - I feel like it's one I'll listen to again and again and keep taking more from it. Thank you Jen.
I am not in a desperate situation, I am in a good marriage, I am good with money and manage to save whist still enjoying life, and have just received a great promotion at work - a promotion I didn't think would ever be a reality.
My main childhood hangup is that I was raised to be a future mom & in my head I never needed to be a career woman because I would end up being a stay at home Mom.
Now that I'm 27 and currently have ZERO desire for children [view them as a lack of freedom, of pain, of not getting enough sleep and sacrificing so much of myself and my husband] and have this opportunity it's pretty scary, and my head tries to tell me I can't or I shouldn't, or if I do I won't be able to have kids because I will be too busy. blah.blah.blah.
Since reading this book I have created positive goals, I am thankful for achieving them, I am thankful for all the good that is happening to me and thankful that I am going to be an amazing career woman who can have it all [the awesome high paying job, the family, the supercar, the cleaner].
I even tried meditation, I don't think I've fully connected yet, but I'm going to keep on & be the best, most badass version of myself.
I absolutely loved listening, she speak so much truth, it just made sense to me
many great thoughts and tips. loved short and concise chapters.
already looking forward to listening to it again.
thank you Jen.
"Jen is brilliant - I'm now bad ass too"
Whilst a lot of the concepts in the book are things you will have heard else where, the way Jen describes them, how to implement them and why leads you to actually WANT to do them right now and become a bad ass. Sometimes all you need is someone to tell you what to do again, to make you want to do that thing...
Listen to this book and become inspired to make more of your life!
Great book, great vibe , great message and most importantly awesome energy from Jen! Thank you
"Enjoyed this book very much good advice !"
I have listened to this book a few times and will continue to listen . Good advice really to be grateful of all you have in life and to get in touch with your hopes and dreams and advice on how to manifest or even realise them. To challenge beliefs that may hold you back. I would strongly recommend this book !
"My favourite xx"
So good I'm starting again for another run through. Conversational tone, up beat, girl power!
Brilliant read. Jen Sincero is fantastic and her book is equally inspiring book as it is an exciting adventure of discovery. I already know this is a book I will listen to many times on my own personal quest for success and happiness. If you're quirky and a bit stuck. You need this in your life.
