Engaging, and a lot of useful information

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I enjoyed listening to this audio. It was engaging, and had a variety of useful information regarding pregnancy, from conception all the way to birth (and even the first month post-birth). I learned a lot, and I will probably listen to it at least one more time.

If you could sum up YOU in three words, what would they be?

wonderful book to get a heads start on pregnancy. it explains the why behind all the things you hear as far as what you cant and should do and eat during pregnancy.

terrible

this in the most condescending thing I have ever read. I really tried to give it a chance, but it's truly a step back into the dark ages. if I could give zero stars I would.

Rather disappointing

The information was way too general. The text was full of cliches and not much of substance.

Overly cautious, most information not helpful

This book contains useful medical information for expecting mothers. I found it to be somewhat terrifying, and unnecessarily cautious. Perhaps it would be better as a physical book. As an audiobook I couldn't easily skip chapters that weren't pertinent to my pregnancy. I didn't even finish it, I purchased the mayo clinic book instead which I like much better!

Poison for Pregnant Women

I truly tried to give this book a chance even though the first chapter was already full of red flags. This book is line after line of fear-inducing threats about what pregnant women should not do or else! There is nothing uplifting or encouraging for new inexperienced mothers. They also push epigenetics on pregnant mothers as a guarantee to have a baby with the best of yours and your partner's genetics. I don't trust the advice in this book, and I'm already stressed as a pregnant mother so scare-tactics are especially unwelcome.

Don't bother

While Mehmet Oz is interesting enough to listen to, Michael Roizen o-ver-e-nun-ci-ates e-ver-y syl-lab-le. They alternate between each other, making the contrast between them that much more noticeable. This audiobook is unlistenable and I regret ever having wasted my credit on it.
