Murray talks a lot about getting what you ask for in prayer and its our human nature to start treating prayer and God like a magic lamp; however, if you listen closely you'll understand more of the relationship you can have with God through prayer. It changed my prayer life which changed my life.
Retired bookkeeper, married, Mom of 2, two granddaughters. Love cozy mysteries.
A classic book on prayer by one of the giants. Read most of A.M.'s books when I became a Christian more than 30 years ago. I recommend this book to new Christians, especially. However, if you've been a Christian for awhile, you probably know most of the points made in this book. Very much enjoyed Mr. Eggington's British (or Australian?) accent!
Absolute standard for the average Christian today, whether a person is new in the faith or not. Every Child of God should get this book and make it a standard to read with family.
I listened to it as a meditation. It grew my understanding of God's life in the heart of every believer that desires nothing less than His holiness.
Yes, It is a great book, if you want to know how to pray
Have faith in God who gave promises.
