Awareness, Appreciation, Action
Super Brain by Rudy Tanzi and Deepak Chopra, because both claim that we ARE what we tell ourselves we are.
I thought it was a very thought-provoking and useful book. Lots of useful and practical ideas, suggestions and strategies. I will definitely listen to this audiobook again!
I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased reviewKnow
It ranks up towards the very top. The author has such a refreshingly different viewpoint on how to get un-stuck.
From the first chapter I was hooked. Author looks at all aspects of issue and shows how even what we fear and the problems we encounter are blessings and sign posts on our journey to be the best us.
Greg does a great job of narration. One of the few I would seek out to listen to again.
For me the biggest idea from this book is that re-thinking what is bad and what is good will change your entire perspective. Changing how you look at a situation or issue can make all the difference
Highly recommend to anyone looking for some help getting un-stuck in life. The ideas are sound, yet different from probably 99% of the other self help books out there. Nothing demeaning, all positive. I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review
This is a book that I would listen to several times a year. On the first listening there is so much good information and advice that I listened again straight away to pick up any points I'd missed.
There are so many it's difficult to pick out one particular part. The main point that comes across is 'Your are in control of your own future'. By following even a few of the author's advice and principles you will improve your life circumstances.
There isn't a paticular character as this is a self-help book. I foung Greg Zarcone narration clear, bright and uplifting. An excellent job, that's easy to listen to.
I realized after reading Derek's insights that one is never stuck. There are always options and changes of direction one can make to improve any situation.
I received this audio free in exchange for a review, and so glad I did so. I would have purchased the book in any case. I love self-help books and this is one of the best.
I loved this book! The constant questions throughout and how he helps you work on changing your thought process I found quite helpful. The whole book was very inspirational and I would highly recommend it to anyone who feels like they're in a rut or feel like they've lost their path in life. I know that I will come back to it the next time I feel stuck or need a different perspective.
I enjoyed the writing style of the author. His words when read demonstrated his passion for helping others succeed. The narrator added to the strength of the book.
I would, though in some cases it would need to be anonymously. I'm not sure if there's a stigma about telling people to read a self-help book as somehow implying that they need the help contained within.
As it's a self-help book the only character is the author himself talking to you through the voice of the narrator. It's understandable and broken down reasonably.
I have not, but I would not hesitate in the future if it comes up.
The fact that it's easy to get stuck in life but given the right motivation and tools it's just as easy to get out of it.
I received this audiobook in exchange for an honest review. I would recommend it to anyone who feels like they're stuck in a rut of any kind and even those who don't but are interested in seeing how to deal with possible issues that might arise in the future.
