In this groundbreaking new audiobook, Carlson tackles the difficult issues, from illness, death, injury, and aging, to alcoholism, divorce, and financial pressures, with his trademark wise and eminently helpful advice. By showing us how to create a reservoir of inner strength, how to access our mental health, and how to experience inner peace, even while enduring difficulties, What About the Big Stuff? teaches us to be proactively responsive. We can learn the actual skills to apply in response to the painful events and aspects of our lives.
This beautifully optimistic program about the troubles that come to each of us offers extremely comforting words that will help anyone going through a difficult time with those larger issues in life that at moments can seem entirely overwhelming.

"Throughout the audio Carlson offers solid advice on accepting our strong feelings about the big stuff and adjusting the way we think about these feelings so they won't overwhelm us." (AudioFile)
"Carlson's many real-life examples of folks going through hard times and hard decisions are right on." (Publishers Weekly)
I liked the book because it makes you look at the way you think and gives you options to change if change is needed. I heard a religious over tone but feel that the ideas can be used by those who refrain or shy away from religion.
