Life changer!

This book changed my trajectory at a moment in my life where I started to become an anxious person 24/7. Lysa is so authentic and funny and real. After reading the book, I could suddenly see where all of my anxiety was coming from and make changes to keep it from sticking around. There are so many gems packed into this book. I know I'll read it over and over and get something new each time.

I wish I'd had this book when my children were young. I've recommended it to each of my 4 daughters that now either have children or are about to. Such complete truths abound within this author's story. I can't wait to listen to it again!

Good listen

I enjoyed listening to this on the road. It was a practical and easy listen. She did ramble at times but that could be me. I am a tell me what ya got and let's move on ED Nurse. Easy to apply to life.

Lisa was herself and genuine in her story telling. I could picture myself in every single one of her situations!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

This is a book that I could have listened to in all one sitting. But I enjoyed taking it in bits in pieces.

Let's see...I laughed, I cried and I had deep thoughts...My only caution is to folks that are not Christian...this book is a Christian book and if that bothers you, you may not enjoy the read as much. That being said, the story is entertaining no matter what faith you choose to follow.

Pretty good

I liked that this was read by the actual author. I could totally relate to so many of the things she went through, and I have reacted the same way. Her advice is Bible based common sense, but there were many "a ha" moments for me. I've read the Scriptures she's referenced (some several times), but didn't "get it" until now. It's nice to know "you're not the only one" no matter how "perfect" some try to portray themselves, you don't need to be. Change will happen with the renewing of your mind and trust in Him.
