Publisher's summary

Based on over 25 years of spirit communication and thousands of professional readings, world-famous medium James Van Praagh shares the personal regrets, misgivings, remorse, and, most important, the advice of the dead who have chosen him as a medium. These spirits have a great deal to say about what they have learned and discovered on the other side and how we, the living, can benefit from their experiences.

Unfinished Business is filled with shocking and emotional stories of Van Praagh's communication with loved ones who cross over the barrier between the living and the dead to send messages to those whom they have left behind.

Through these profound true stories, Van Praagh guides us on an adventure into the spirit world. The lessons for the living that he has learned from these experiences range from the dangers of emotional baggage caused by guilt, fear, and regret to the importance of karma, forgiveness, and taking responsibility for our actions. Van Praagh shares with us now the wisdom that, without him, we would only gain after death.

Another thought-provoking great read!

Would you listen to Unfinished Business again? Why?

Very thought-provoking, made me think of the experience in the after-life in a whole new way.

What did you like best about this story?

Enjoyed the hearing the personal experiences of both those living and the spirits who have passed.

What does Marc Cashman bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Very good performance. Marc actually sounds a lot like James, so I could imagine James speaking as I was listening.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This book made me feel very peaceful and comfortable about where my loved ones who passed over are and what they are experiencing. It also made me feel more at peace about end of life in general.

Excellent!

I am a medium and intuitive healer. My experience with spirits has shown me that life should be lived with love and compassion. That we are eternal spirits and we are here on earth to learn and grow. James, expressed this through wonderful accounts of real stories that touches whoever listens.
He included suggestions and lessons on living a balanced life knowing that spirits of loved ones are never really gone. Our loved ones continue to guide, love and support us.
He also included why forgiveness is healing and described how to view this process to better understand it.
I loved this book, his way of reaching out to his readers and will listen to his other books now.
Keep up the good work James!

Excellent lessons

In case you are skeptical, James is the real deal: I called in once to Hayhouse and asked if he could see my deceased father. He said that my dad didn’t believe in this stuff so he was distant, but on the other side w my sister. I said I only have one sister and she’s alive; but he reminded me that my mom had been pregnant one more time and that baby never made it to the earth plane. I had been so Young, I hadn’t remembered. For this reason, I believe James would have excellent information to impart to the living from people who have passed. He brings it with love for our growth. I have utmost respect for his work. I would’ve loved to hear his voice narrating!!!

Everyone Can Relate

James's book does a great job retelling his experiences giving psychic medium readings, There are many lessons to be learned and some simply reminders of from Spirits for us in this life. This book will make people take pause and give thought to their own lives and their purpose. There are so many stories I believe most will relate to several of them. There are a few that some will have a hard time believing, and that's their path, but I wouldn't pass on the entire book due to a one or two that may not resonate personally. This book was fascinating, I really enjoyed it, I bought the hard copy as well to reference some of the lessons as I progress with my own personal journey here.

Amazing

Where does Unfinished Business rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

one of the best

Any additional comments?

Would have liked the other voices to sound more natural rather then forced, but the stories are amazing and love James Van Praagh

Excellent book, awesome narrator!

I was a little hesitant, at first, to buy this book, only because Mr. Van Praagh isn't the narrator, as he is for his other two (also excellent) books. However, after maybe a page or two, I all but forgot that the narrator's voice wasn't James's, since the words are his, and the narrator does an awesome job. The stories James tells about the readings he has had with people offer some very important life lessons that everyone could benefit from. This book has given me a different perspective on life and on my role in it. I highly recommend this book!
