I've studied TONS of relationship "experts" from John Gray, Tony Robbins, David Deida and others. Alison is by far the BEST! She is not only hilarious, but words things in a very digestible way. She is not a basher of any sorts of either gender. She articulates herself in ways that inspires the opposite gender to want to do more for the other. This is truly a work of art and I've purchased many of her other books as a result. I am quite amazed...
This audio is a live recording of a four and a half hour workshop. I found the majority of the Author's presentation to be both charming, humorous and witty. One negative is that there is some sort of "puzzle" diagram that is referred to during the workshop, for which there is no supplemental material (?), however, in my view this is a minor annoyance and certainly does not significantly detract from the substantive message. Loved the format whereby Alison periodically breaks the performance to review the previous 30 minutes (or so) of topic (I found this to be really helpful for processing the pearls of wisdom throughout).
For most Men, I'd venture they'll receive many A-ha's, Wow's and OMG's from the material presented, as I did. Regularly discovered myself thinking... Holy Crap, that makes SO much sense, no wonder I'd get that (fill in the blank______) response from her when I said or acted that way. I certainly have more tolerance and admiration for Womanly facets that I'd previously not understood (and what used to, at times, become exasperating... now seems more like... charming - particularly Berry Markers).
It's efficacy is not only for Men either. Alison also offers ways in which Women can understand and appreciate the quirks instinctively built into Men, and enjoy a more joyful partnership.
Overall an excellent listen, informative and well worth a credit (or purchase).
Very informative and educational I liked it and it helps a whole lot!!!
My only complaint the reader comes across a little condescending towards men. Overall a good read
Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus
Her personal delivery and sound effects that made it so real as well as funny.
Men and women are not the same, most of the time. How to better relate to friends and dates."I am truly sorry I hurt your feelings."
This was an excellent work that shed light on how the basic male and female characteristics are really different. If you have ever had trouble understanding why there always seems to be communication issues between the sexes, this will help clear it up. If you are married, you should both listen to it, together. If you want a woman in your life, listen to this so you understand what you are dealing with. If you want a man in your life, listen to this so you understand what you are dealing with. Once you gain this insight, you will have a much smoother time. About half way thru she will tell you that the rules do not always apply 100% to each person for all their characteristics. The night after I listened to this, I was on a date with an ALPHA-MALE woman. I could see exactly where it applied and where not. It was amazing! The female friend that recommended this to me was having some issues. I used the code phrase and she immediately rebooted! Even she was surprised. It was not even me that hurt her feelings! I was so sincere because I hated to have my friend hurt.I think I will listen to this a few more times.

Men are from Mars, Women from Venus - paradigm shifting and easy to understand ideas that give you power to WIn in relationships
Alison Armstrong is the best teacher on Man/Woman dynamics around. I say this as an author of 2 books and a 24 hour audio course on how to Create Thriving Partnerships.
Armstrong is a brilliant researcher, story teller and entertainer of what it is really like to live in a human body. She eloquently helps us to more fully appreciate what makes humans tick.
A must read if you are in a relationship with another human, woman or man.
Alison shares vitally important information that both men and women need to understand. This information is life altering no doubt. Already seeing improvements in my relationship. Thank you!
This was IT!!! This program filled my need for the incorporation of Spirit in the equation between men and women. The previous works I've read/listened to by Alison focused on understanding men, the development of men... In those works I was always left feeling that the discussion of Spirit, of the Higher Self, was missing. Understanding Women has it and has it by the bucketful! And now I understand why. Alison's work in this program explained so much of ME. The experiences of ME. Why I've always been "called" to something bigger than myself, why I move through a space & am obsessed with fixing, straightening, attending to everything out of place... And she explained it all with such humor. I felt like I was there, in the room of the actual workshop and not just listening to a recording of the event. Thank you, Alison for giving me/us the other piece of the puzzle. Great job!
very insightful and helpful with realistic and relatable stories and tips all which are humorous or heart warming. I adore all her workshop tapes, I just wish there were more!!!
