    "Impressive"

I have to say that I was impressed by this audiobook. I have been reading self-development books for the past year and I have read about creative visualizations many times but Ron really explains it to you perfectly. The more I hear about it, the more I want to do it and learn how to do it correctly. Using the computer as an analogy for your brain was perfect for explaining why it is so important to visualize. I am definitely going to listen to this audiobook over and over to get this technique down perfectly because I know visualization works from past experiences but I am far from perfecting it.

    "Practical"

Ron Holland highlights how the right and left brain utilizes information we have consciously or unconsciouly programmed into our selves. He succintly shares how to manifest successes after a person understands how to program the biocomputer (brain). Using personal stories, he explains how we all operate daily on the positive or negative feedback loops impregnated into our brains. He explains how to reprogram success by reprogramming the biocomputer and he shares how to use our reticular activating system (the critical 140 billion cells in the brain) to increase success in daily performance.
This is a practical and powerful NLP training for anyone who wants more success in every area of their lives. Inspirational and "do-able" techniques.

    "Corny Turbo Success"

There were moments that were good. But on the whole some of his examples were a bit lame. He goes on about reprogramming the BIO COMPUTER but gets to the end of the book and doesn't go into any real practical examples of how to do this. The book was a bit airy fairy with no real focus. I give it 2 stars because it was well read. But on the whole had no practical vision

    "Very clear and understandable explanations"
Would you consider the audio edition of Turbo Success to be better than the print version?

I haven't read the print version

What did you like best about this story?

The explanation of the differences in the left and right brain and their separate functions really hit home for me and I immediately understood the concepts. I've read many self development books but they have not been as clear and to the point as this audio. Also I liked the down to earth and easily understandable approach of the audio. There was nothing wafty - just practical advice.

Have you listened to any of the narrators’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Haven't heard any prior performances of the narrator but I found him to be very professional and clearly spoken and I kept thinking the narrator was the author - he was very good!

What insight do you think you’ll apply from Turbo Success?

I have been listening again and again to the tape as the author advised and each time I hear something new. I am already putting into action many of the ideas.

    Any additional comments?

To me, Ronald G Holland is very 'real'!

    "MUST HAVE!"

Get this audiobook and understand life! I've read books from multiple schools of thought all relating to the power of our minds- everything from 'The Secret' to 'The Mind-Body Code', Jack Canfield, Deepak Chopra, Wayne W. Dyer, Mark Hansen, Candace Pert...struggling to understand and find an explanation that makes sense to me. The way that Holland lays out his ideas then follows them with not only examples but also reasons- it's amazing how it all comes together. He can explain the way the mind works and why you get the outcomes you do! This is the book I've been searching for and I believe it will make a difference in your life too!

    "PAinful"

The author should have definitely gotten someone else to to read, as his delivery was extremely irritating. The material was very poor, silly anectdotes of questionable relevance. I could not stand it anymore and did not finish listening past the first 2 or 3 chapters.

    "Could be your breakthrough book...."

This book is perfect for those who are currently following up on 'the secret' and the law of attraction. The hammering home of left brain right brain being very different in what they offer to us is extremely useful. Ron sells this idea very well. He uses the analogy of strapping up one of your arms and the trying to function with one arm. He points out, correctly, that nearly all of us rely on our left brain, the logical, rational, language and words side of our mind. We unknowningly neglect the right side of our brain, the creative, intuitive side. The side where hypnotists tap into. The right side of the brain can be programmed to really believe your dreams and creative visualisations. He explains how to achieve this. So for example. 'I own a rolls royce' will be questioned by the left side, the rational side, whereas in time, the right side can be programmed into believing this.

One of the other very important gems in this audio book is that it's extremely important to come out of our self-induced hypnosis properly. Even meditation can be a form of self-hypnosis. Not coming out correctly can leave on feeling tired and spaced out. Ron gives us his own personal story about this when he got into meditation for two years.

I feel audio books are better in some ways to written books for the following reasons:-

1/ If something really gels with you and you really want to hammer it home, re-reading the book over and over is not practical. Whereas an audio book can be on your mp3 player playing over and over in every room in the house.

2/ If you're really tired one can lay down and close your eyes, listening to your important messages in your self-improvement audio books. One can get through a 3 hour book easily twice a week. In 14 days you will have listened to it 5 times!

3/ Reading requires the mind and eyes to be fresh. Audio can sink in even while half-listening. Of course it also plays in the car as well.

Get 'The Silva Method for Success' to.

"A MUST audio for your 'success' library!"

If you're REALLY serious about 'success/achievement', then I'd say that you must add this audio to your collection.
I've read dozens of books and listened to hours and hours of audio about 'success' over the last two or three eyars. This is without doubt one of the best! I heard in on audible first and then got a copy of the book. I recommend both! Ron's adopted model of the mind as a 'computer' works really well, and he shares some highly valuable and effective techniques to do with relaxation, visualisation, and a particular structure in the brain called the Reticular Formation and the associated Reticular Activating System (or 'RAS' for short). These ideas are rarely described in books but of significant importance. You'll also discover a little known fact that 'belief' in a technique or approach isn't actually as important as you think! Buy the audio now and listen immediately! Ron doesn't read the book himself, but Peter Hobday does a great job; really easy to listen to.

    "Good Fun, Good Message."

The computer technology that is detailed in this book is a bit 1985 but the message behind the theme still rings true. I love Ron Holland purely because he?s so quintessentially British and down to earth (has anyone ever used the word ?quintessentially? and not followed it with ?British?? Sorry!).

This has some complex themes and is a good basic overview of how the brain works and how you can help ?tune? it to your advantage. As with all Ron Holland?s books its fundamentally the same message ? ?visualise your success? but hey it?s good enough for Churchill, Henry Ford, Thomas Edison AND Ron G Holland so it?s good enough for you!

    "Turbo Success"

This title is not Ron's best audio in my humble opinion, but it's still worth listening to. Ron runs a commentary at the beginning and end of the audio by being interviewed by ex-BBC journalist Valerie Singleton and a professional reader narrates the whole book, I find this format refreshing and works well. I prefer his other very practical seminal work 'Debt Free Financial Kung Fu' which is an old book, but has excellent advice for anyone in business today. It's obvious Ron walks the talk and really knows his stuff and it's British without being stuffy which is a big plus.

    "straight talk"

If you fancy your self-help with an english accent, then you could do worse than Ron G Holland's "Turbo Success", read by Peter Hobday.
It is well recorded and smoothly delivered, with excellent content; and just enough "why" information to support it's suppositions.
