Fear and distrust keep us from living the life we were meant to live, and they are the greatest hurdles to seeing the truth about life--that it is good, abundant, supportive, and potentially joyous. There's nothing more important than seeing this truth, because the degree to which we trust life is the degree to which we can be happy and at peace.
Trusting Life is a deep exploration into the mystery of who we are, why we suffer, why we don't trust life, and how to become more trusting. It offers evidence that life is trustworthy and tools for overcoming the fear and beliefs that keep us from falling in love with life.
From Trusting Life:
"If we persist in being involved with our egoic mind, it will be difficult to discover the truth about reality-that living in reality, instead of the ego's virtual reality, is a peaceful, safe, and joyous place and that within us is the wisdom and guidance we need to be happy and fulfilled. Being in the moment is where true happiness lies, but we won't discover that if we're wrapped up in the ego's world and believing the ego's perspective, which is one of fear and distrust."

This one is tops.
The narrators voice is really good. One of the best I have ever heard. I feel like she is the author and she is really speaking from the heart.
I was thinking to myself the other day I wish I had a book on trusting life and them boom this book comes out.
She puts into words all the things we really know inside, but are too afraid to face, and she tells us why there is no need to be afraid, to experience life.
No, this is the first I've heard of her.
You are what you think.
This audio book helped me in so many ways.
Gina Lakes concise message is inspiring and uplifting.
Gina helps the reader see through the falsehoods of the Egoic Mind and apply truth as we live our lives.
I have read several of Gina Lakes books and highly recommend them for anyone who is on their spiritual quest.
I read this book on Kindle and reread it a number of times. I found it so insightful that I wanted to keep being reminded of its philosophy without having to take the time to read it so I bought the title in audio format so I can listen in my car on the way to work.
I was not crazy about the narrator and it's possible that if someone has never read this book and listens to it for the first time on audio they will not be able to absorb or understand the message and might even give up before hearing the whole book.
This book has changed my life and the way I look at things for the better. It has been the catalyst for the positive changes in my life and I eagerly look for more information of a similar sort.

I did no like the Narrator who read too slow at the beginning of the book and had a voice that made it difficult for me to concentrate on the contents of the book. I liked the fact that the author was willing to share her life with the listener. After listening, I could understand how fear from child abuse, rape, incest and domestic violence can have a long term effect on an individuals life. The author zeroed in on some solutions to a life of anxiety and fear. I think this was the best part.
The author is honest about how having the ability to overcome fear changed her relationships with her husband and other family members.
No, had a difficult time staying tuned into this book because of the way Rebecca started reading it. She did get better about half way through the book.
Once I got into it, this book was worth listening to. Parts of it I listened to more than once.
