Not Really Narrated by Him

it's very disappointing that the chapters don't match the track numbers making it difficult to use it as a reference.

I was really hoping to have more Napoleon Hill and he barely shows up which makes is very disappointing.

I've owned this physical book for years and have listened to other versions and when seeing this one was looking forward to hearing directly from the author yet there were only a few clips of him speaking at various events instead of it truly being Narrated by him which is what it claims.

Best Audio Version!!

This recording is the best audio book I've heard based on the recording quality. The content is narrated by both a high quality voice over actor, as well as, Recordings of Napoleon Hill speaking to crowds of people. There is even chamber music to separate chapters and headings.

The content of this book is of the quality which, I for one will re-engage with numerous times moving forward in my life. I highly recommend this book to everyone aged 13 and up. It's a classic for a reason.

All inspiring!

Just excellent. The message clear and concise. Presented in a logical form and engrossing. Took notes through out the entire book and refer back to them as I listen again and again.

Good Info- Still Relevant

I enjoyed it, and the periodic voice of Napoleon was actually refreshing. I'm sure I will listen to this again as a constant refresher. As with any information, you have to be prepared & willing to receive the suggestions listed in this book. I have read many law of attraction & spiritual books, but was glad that I was able to hear new things that I hadn't heard before. Not too spiritual, not too scientific, but definitely an eye opener.

This is the one to get!

Any additional comments?

This is the audio edition to get! The combination of the narrator and Napoleon HIll's oratory is great. It's all a bit old school but none-the-less this is a classic!

Accompanying PDF Included

For the complaints about the lack of exercises that is included in the hardcopy, there is an accompanying pdf included with this purchase. It had some excellent insights and is a timeless classic.

It's a lot old thinking that has proven false

The story is very interesting. More like a history lesson in how people thought in 1930s. The thing that are true are just obvious. "Gambling is a disease of the mind" then is starts talking About being oversexed. It's just dated and obvious in its message. Some of the things on persistence and Henry ford are good but too few and far between.

If I were to rate it in 1930 I would give it 5 stars but 75 year later I would say it's a one star.

I would compare it paying to see a movie and it's silent black and white and it's showing the bullet that goes to the moon with people on it. I mean that's great 100 years ago.

I just got this on the good reviews. I am very disappointed.
I read in the reviews that the language was old fashioned but the message was still revolutionary.
I agree the language is old fashioned . I strongly disagree on the information being accurate being helpful. It's talks of mutation and evils of sex and just stuff that is utter nonsense. It also is just a bunch of lists of things not to do that are obvious enough Don't keep negative friends don't steal. Then 50 percent are things that have been proven wrong.Just the absolute worst in 2015.

After listening to this book I realize that many of the best business books and self self-help books originated from Napoleon Hill's think and grow Rich

Rules for success

In order to succeed you must try whole heartedly and without reservations. That is the main point I drew from this book. It provides many ways in which you can begin to do so, but without making the dive into your life purpose head first, then the efforts you make will likely land you with mediocrity. Some of the information from this book is out dated but the main points and overall intentions are still relevant and will be for years to come.
