Think and Grow Rich is a motivational personal development and self-help book written by Napoleon Hill and inspired by a suggestion from Scottish-American businessman Andrew Carnegie. While the title implies that this book deals only with how to achieve monetary wealth, the author explains that the philosophy taught in the book can be used to help individuals do or be almost anything they want. For instance, Jim Murray (a sportswriter) wrote that Think and Grow Rich was credited for Ken Norton's boxing upset of Muhammad Ali in 1973.
The book was first published in 1937 during the Great Depression. At the time of Hill's death in 1970, Think and Grow Rich had sold 20 million copies. It remains the biggest seller of Napoleon Hill's books - a perennial best-seller after 70 years (BusinessWeek's best-seller list ranked Think and Grow Rich as the sixth best-selling paperback business book 70 years after it was first published). Think and Grow Rich is listed in John C. Maxwell's A Lifetime Must Read Books List.

I downloaded this book after another author referenced on his book. The bottom line is that Mr. Napoleon Hill describes a method for success that has been proven over and over by thousands of people and copied in many forms by many other authors, even in today's bests sellers for personal development.
If you are interested in this topic, I suggest you download a lecture by Mr. Napoleon Hill in his own voice, also available at Audible.com. It is the best and I am sure you will get the message delivered efficiently and enjoyable. Mr. Hill's method for success is without doubt a proven approach for anyone that truly desires to succeed in life, whether is business or personal.
My only regret is that Audible.com advertises this book as narrated by Mr. Napoleon Hill and that is not the case. The actual narrator has the most boring voice that I have heard with a British accent and it takes away pretty much most of the interest from the reader (listener). So if you do not care about the narrator's voice, then I recommend to download this version, otherwise, look for another narrator or Mr. Hill's truly own voice on his real life lecture recording, also available here in Audible.com.
I am a "Life is Awesome! Strive to be Worthy of it." student of life kind of guy. Feeding on Chaos and Empowering the Good. Group Hug!
This is a good book, I have read it once in the 1990's and wanted to listen to it again. The book is a Great book, it is the person Reading it that is horrible, it is obvious he is not a reader. He pauses at multiple places during a sentence where there shouldn’t be a pause. It’s like he can only read a few words per breath, he is so consistent through the whole book.
There is too much good information to list.
None, I would fire the reader.
Fire the reader, and change the
Really disappointed that it wasn't Hill's own voice, even though it says it is. Not sure why it's advertised that way, regardless I would not recommend this book.
The narration of this book is generally poor due to the narrator pausing, punctuating the dictation incorrectly in addition to adding emphasis the words where non is added.
I had previously purchased the book which is excellent. However, I found the flow of the narration to be awkward to the point that I find it irritating to listen to it. It flows as if using computer narration.
I will be exercising the option for the money back guarantee, and reviewing an alternative version.
Don't waste your time with this

I have read this book several times and can now listen to it while I jog. This book is the classic in the success principles category.

It's all up to us!
Wish I'd listened to a sample, wouldn't have ever wasted the money downloading.
Disappointment (only could listen to 2 minutes).
I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!
I don't know. The narration is so annoying that I doubt I'll go on. I'll just the book out the library.
As other reviewers have noted, he ... pauses multiple ... times in a .... sentence ... where ... clearly no ... punctuation is intended. And his diction is terribly sloppy, barely intelligible at moments, although he is reads soooo sloooowly that at first I thought I was somehow playing the audiobook at the wrong speed. This is sad, because the tone of his voice is beautiful. With some coaching, he might be an excellent narrator.
After a couple of audiobooks with annoying readers, I think I will start paying better attention to what the reviewers say before I invest. I suggest that Audible start listening to these recordings before offering them for sale. Most of the ones I've bought are very high quality, but THIS one? Frankly, I've downloaded better for free from Archive.
"Fabulous book ruined by a really dull narrator!"
The book is fabulous
The narration is really dull and slow, twice I tried to listen and twice I found myself falling asleep.
YES! I like to listen to audiobooks whilst travelling.
The content is dated but still worthy. I downloaded this because the book is in many top 10 books to inspire. But the main problem is the way in which it is read. For such inspirational material it is read in a rather unemotional, dry and dull way. I listened all the way through but a few weeks later I really can't remember most of it and I certainly won't be listening again. I think I may just buy the book!
"Well read and easy to listen to!"
I read this book and listen to it at the same time! Probably one of my best purchases!
