Good tips

Overall good tips.
Much of it is a rehash of Gary's other books.
At the beginning the painting of bringing a baby was all too pink.
The fact is for many people the 1st year of the 1st baby is devestating.

Very Gendered, Not Inclusive

This book feels very old school. The author starts off by saying something along the lines of, “marriage is between one man and one woman, and households do best with one mother and one father.” I was pretty close to turning it off after that. I stuck around and there were some good tidbits about boundaries and love languages, but I begrudgingly got through this book with a sour taste in my mouth from a lot of the gendered thinking.
