Abraham will show you how to enter that Vortex, where you will rendezvous with everything and everyone you have been looking for.

Abraham says: "It is our desire to help you to solve the mystery of those seemingly impossible relationships; to sort out the details of joyously sharing your planet with billions of others; to rediscover the beauty of your differences; and, most of all, to reestablish the most important relationship of all: your relationship with the Eternal, Non-Physical Source that is really you.

"It is our desire that you experience an enhanced appreciation of your planet; your body; your family; your friends; your enemies; your government; your systems; your food; your finances; your animals; your work and your play; your purpose; your Source; your Soul; your past, your future, and your present...."

    "Thought provoking with bones"
Would you listen to The Vortex again? Why?

Yes, a lot of insight regarding the power of positive thinking

Who was your favorite character and why?

    Abraham... Just like 'em

What does Jerry Hicks bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The question and answer format initially threw me off but I learned to appreciate it rather quickly

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

    Thoughts create your life

    Any additional comments?

This book has bones (ideas not readily digestible or just outlandish) but it's worth getting through. The things that resonated with me where the things I could line up with the Bible.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Vortex to be better than the print version?

Not had the print version but the audio one was convenient for me.

What other book might you compare The Vortex to and why?

    Secret etc

What does Jerry Hicks bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

    N/A

What insight do you think you’ll apply from The Vortex?

Many good concepts and all easily tried/implemented.

    Any additional comments?

Just found some repetition which is my only negative comment. The live audience recording was a great inclusion. I really enjoy Abraham and would happily recommend this to those who want to see the bigger picture of how to think and attract the right things.

    "Worth it!"
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would. The information in this book helps readers work toward more positive living.

Have you listened to any of Jerry Hicks’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No I have not. But Jerry does not do most of the narration, Esther does.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

It helped me to see how I was thinking in a negative way and to learn how to move my thoughts to a higher frequency.

    Any additional comments?

This is a great book with practical information on the law of attraction.

    "A whirlwind of truths"
Would you consider the audio edition of The Vortex to be better than the print version?

A difficult comparison as I did not read this title; however, having read the other books in this series, I have to say that I prefer the audio version over print because I was able to get extra meaning due to voice inflection that cannot be distinguished in print.

What other book might you compare The Vortex to and why?

I compare this book to Harmonic Wealth by James Arthur Ray because they both provide practical uses and solutions to the material that is taught.

What about Jerry Hicks’s performance did you like?

I liked Jerry's performance in this recording because of his timing of questions and the way he leads you into Abraham's answers.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

    Enter the cyclone of truth...

    Any additional comments?

The first few minutes of the book were a bit difficult to listen to as it seemed it was going to be a very dry listen; however, once I got past the initial monotone it became more interesting and easy to listen to. This is a definite must read/listen to book.

    empowering, inspiring, reconnecting

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. I have read and listened to it many times. It is one of those books you can and want to come back to over and again. It helps to remind me to reconnect with myself ...and then everything else follows.

    "Who you really are..."
Is there anything you would change about this book?

I would change the narrators. The gentleman, (Jerry) sounded like he was suffering a bad head cold, or allergies. Like his nose was all plugged up. It was very distracting. The lady (Esther) has a heavy southern bell accent which at times was distracting as well. The word help comes off as

How did the narrator detract from the book?

They sounded hollow, and not very professional, kind of like they were in the kitchen reading the pages of a script. It just didn’t sound as well as other books I’ve listened to.

Did The Vortex inspire you to do anything?

I will try the exercise mentioned at the end of the book.

    Any additional comments?

The material was very repetitious in the first 20 minutes of the story. “And here you are.” was a very popular phrase. Some key phrases were used over and over again throughout the book. At times, I knew which phrase was about to come up in the dialog. I found myself tempted more than once to just turn it off and move on to another book. But I was able finish the book. I can’t seem to finish the seminar that comes after the book though.
Overall the material offered was good. It just needs to be narrated by more professional sounding narrators, if that makes sense.
