Discover the deeper, closer connection your heart has been longing for.
As a young bride, Jennifer Smith dreamed of closeness with her husband - of being fully known and loved. But their early years together were marked by disappointment and pain. What am I doing wrong? Jennifer cried out to God. It was as if a veil separated Jennifer from her husband and from God - a barrier that kept her from experiencing the fullness of love. How did Jennifer's marriage survive? What did she and her husband do when they were tempted to call it quits? And how did God step in during their darkest hour to tear down the veil once and for all?
The Unveiled Wife is a real-life love story, one touching the deep places in a marriage that only God can reach. If you are feeling disappointment or even despair in your marriage, the heart cry of this audiobook is: You are not alone. Join Jennifer to learn how God can remove your own veil and lovingly guide you to a place of spiritual transformation, true intimacy, and lasting joy. "Whenever someone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away." - 2 Corinthians 3:16

God has used Jennifer's testimony to minister to the most sensitive areas of my life through this book! He has given me such a powerful revelation of His love & freedom and has exposed darkness in my heart I never acknowledged before. I am now in the process of healing & letting him move in my life & in my marriage! Thanks to the author for being real, for being bold, for being unvieled!
Worth the listen for folks who have experienced the deep pain that years of little to no sex and intimacy in their marriage for years, when sex and intimacy is desired by both partners, yet prevented for both known and unknown reasons.
The book reads like a personal journal. The introspective observations and insights made by the author increase in maturity, just as they would in a personal journal that was compiled over a number of years.
The first several chapters were difficult for me to get through, mainly because of the immaturely pietistic perspective of the writer. However, as the writer matures, the writing does too.
The author's candid and honest portrayal of her marital struggles with sex and intimacy is what really makes the book worth while.

By completely "unveiling" herself, Jennifer provides a rawly honest insight into her experiences as a wife and the effects of the past not only on her marriage, but her relationship to God. By doing so, she provides relatable stories to her readers, who will no doubt gain insights into their own hearts and hope for themselves as children of God and for their marriages. I recommended this book for any woman, single or married, as we could all use encouragement to "unveil" ourselves to God and to others.
This book really helped me . I would recommend it to any woman just starting out in marriage or if your in a bad spot . She shed a lot of light for me on what I was doing , and it just isnt fair to my husband . He's not perfect , and you cant expect them to do or say what you need them too . Take your focus off yourself , put it on God and He will guide you . Wont be easy, but it's always worth it .
God should be #1 , your husband #2 , her story shows how this is important . Seek God , he is the answer your looking for . If you need help in learning how to do that , get her devotional . I am going through it right now .
even when my story is different to hers in so many ways. I definitely related to some of the things she mentioned and it made me see some of my own faults that I haven't consider before. I'm looking for healing in so many ways. however I'm always trying to do it own my own strength. I hope I can start applying this new knowledge and this story gave me hope of having a happy and intimate marriage one day.
Open, honest and insightful into the life of the author and her husband. Must read
