Game Changer!

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

Success Principle 1. Absolutely no complaining or blaming. The place you are in life is because of your actions alone. This is great because you then have the power to make the changes you want.

Any additional comments?

If a person could only learn one book in their life it needs to be this! I don't recommend you go through it....devour it! Should be required reading in schools every year beginning in the 4th grade through PhD. If that actually occurred, the world would be a dramatically better place.

Anyone can benefit as this addresses how a person becomes their best self in all aspects from financial to relationships to work satisfaction.

Where most books are short this is long but not long winded. Instead of being a summary of paradigms as books often are today The Success Principles gets into detail of how to make changes.

The only disappointment is that for Jack Canfield is not the narrator. Danny Campbell does a fine job but if you have listened to Mr. Canfield's other books with him as the speaker then you know how he has a terrific delivery with a voice inflection that is more true to what the book is going for. The word perfect is used far too often but I would say the only thing keeping this book from perfection is that Jack is not the narrator.

I cannot say enough positive things. Since reading The Success Principles my business has doubled in size! I encourage people to get both the audio book version to listen to while in the car and the Kindle/paper version to read so the visual part of your brain is also exposed to the information. Quit reading this review and buy the book!

I consider Jack to be a living legend and this book is a gift to share with everyone you care about. I'm giving it to everyone I know as Birthday gifts. It really is that good!

NOT Read by Jack Canfield

What did you like best about The Success Principles(TM) - 10th Anniversary Edition? What did you like least?

I owned the audio book of the Success Principles for many years and loved that Jack Canfield was reading the book. I was so very excited to see a 10th anniversary edition and pre-ordered it. When the download finished I was sorely disappointed that it was not Jack Canfield who was reading the book, but rather another narrator. The narrator was technically ok, but gone was the enthusiasm and the vocal inflection that was unique to the author that made the original Success Principles recording what it was. It just felt so much less passionate and fell quite flat to my listening ear. In the book, Jack talks about giving feedback; well here is mine: Jack, please never do that again. Never allow someone else to read your work when it is your voice and your direct narration that sells you and your work best.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Jack Canfield

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

The narrator is not the author and sounds unenthusiastic and lacks authenticity.

Was The Success Principles(TM) - 10th Anniversary Edition worth the listening time?

Yes. However, I am very disappointed that the narrator was not Jack Canfield and hearing someone else read The Success Principles was a shock.

Any additional comments?

Jack Canfield needs to read his own audio books and not entrust this to any other narrator.

A few gems, too many examples - get it in print

This is a tough book to review. I gained some good tools/practices from this book, and some good perspectives, so it was completely worth the price. However, there were WAY too many examples and stories. I would recommend getting this book in print so you can highlight and bookmark the gems for later review and ease of writing them into your own notes/practices. A print copy will also allow you to skim the examples to get to the next gem. I won't listen to this again, but I may buy the print version to find and reference the key takeaways.

Great book but. NOT a great narrator

Love the book, truly inspiring, with helpful references and golden nuggets! However, I wasn't too fond with the narrator's voice because he got mixed up between she/he. Highly recommended!

It has been updated to include many of the tools now relevant in this ever changing world of technology that can be highly useful for those looking to grow professionally or launch and grow a business.
