If you have no knowledge of Silva pass on it. I took Silva in the 70's and always integrated the meditative aspects with me. The narrator unfortunately sounds like a New Age Lawrence Welk and it drives me crazy. However about 40 minutes scattered throughout the book makes it worthwhile. Those are the periods devoted to taking you to your "level" or alpha state. The tapping sounds in the background along with the narrator's guidance definitely facilitate a meditative state.
I enjoyed the book.Especially the tone of author. For new guys to Silva, it is more of actual event.Reader who is author , is excellent.I am into Silva , thanks to author.I had read book on Silva ten years ago and this book takes experience to a new level.
This book was long on guided meditation. An audio book that is long on silence is, um, a bit of a waste of money. I listen to my books while driving or working out, relaxing my eyelids and practicing deep breathing was out of the question. Some parts of the occasional lecture were informative but the narrator's habit of practicing hypnotic, trance inducing speech was not good while negotiating rush-hour traffic.
Found it quite short and the content not great either. In short I would not recommend using credits for this product.
"Didn't work for me"
Unfortunately I found the narrator's voice got on my nerves, and the hypnotherapy used within this material I thought was really very patronising. I have studied many self-help texts and unfortunately this is not one that I feel I can recommend.
