Fantastic

As a physician, I gained new insight to many of the underpinnings of the elusive brain. His anecdotes are worth sharing and the research reviewed enligntening. This course was well prepared and told. The exercises that comprise the last 5 chapters make for a convenient resource for the novice practitioner.

this is amazingly helpful. many mind blown moments

as a student of psychology I was completely blown away and loved this. highly interested in neuroscience and the information given in this program was both helpful mind-blowing educational and Awakening. this is highly recommended for anyone who is in the field of psychology and out of the field and listening just for personal gain. You will not bead pointed however sometimes it is so intellectual it goes over some of my clients heads. So it's not necessary for everyone and don't listen if you're super sleepybecause you will miss a lot of amazing information.

Pactical, powerful, fascinating listen.

I grew mentally and emotionally with this course. It opened doors and guided me through. Highly recommended if you are wanting to better understand what makes us tick and how we can find more peace in our lives.

More support for the benefits of meditation

What made the experience of listening to The Science of Mindfulness the most enjoyable?

A higher dose of trial results related to mindfulness and various meditation techniques. Less fluffy and more empirical.

What about Professor Ronald Siegel’s performance did you like?

Great lecturer, as are most of the Great Courses subject matter experts.

informative

The book was informative about Mindfulness. I liked that it offered mindful sessions that can be done by anyone. The books does both short and long sessions and encourages daily practice.
