When we seek comfort and relief from stress, Tara Brach teaches, we often unconsciously turn to false refuges such as material wealth, approval from others, or a preoccupation with the past and future. Yet by cultivating true refuge in this moment, not only can we find shelter from the storms of life but we also open ourselves up to fully experiencing joy and fulfillment. Here, Tara Brach guides a meditation using the therapeutic R.A.I.N. process for releasing fear and healing through self-compassion.

Loved it. Listen repeatedly. Thank you. If you are struggling, in your living, in your being, in your doing, then take a pause, listen, Allow, be gentle and loving with yourself
I would not this was just blah blah blah for me. I did not like it at all.
I wanted a meditation and this was what it said a ""SPeech". So buyer beware it is mostly a speech.
It could of been more interesting and non-repetitive. It just kind of drug on and on and on.
Redeeming quality that it wasn't hours long.
This was not for me.
Gentle, clear and useful guided meditation. Seems you can apply it to all sorts of things that trouble you at a given moment. I bookmarked the meditation part (there's an introductory talk about the technique) and use it often - takes about sixteen minutes.
A gentle but rational and practical approach to understanding and healing the mind. I listened again and again and found more each time.
