A cousin recommended it and I have since recommended it to all my friends. Don't be misled by the title, its no porn. Men have mastered the art of charming women, women need to master the art of choosing men
His that not into you.
Just love books.
For women only - Shaunti Feldhahn as this too deals with what men are thinking.
This book is not for the easily offended, lots of swearing and she tells it just how it is. Very refreshing!
That your vagina is gold!
I have no idea, I have only listened to the audio version.
"Why Men Love Bitches" has most of the same advice worded in different ways.
Her voice seemed to fit well with the content of the book. She kept things interesting.
I like the fact that the book encourages women to move on rather than trying to change a loser. In reality, that's the best thing to do.
As I stated in the headline, you would do best to take the book with a grain of salt. A lot of the tactics that are suggested would not work well in a long term, functional relationship.
That being said, I'd still say that this book has a lot of good advice. Especially with stuff like getting over someone or using birth control. And even without that, this is truly a hilarious and entertaining read. I enjoyed the author's sense of humor and brutally honest way of writing.
I loved this book so much that I listened to it twice! Her advice is spot on and I loved how frank and to the point she was - I found myself laughing out loud! I learned a lot and will apply the simple advice!
I think I did....see above!
There were several memorable moments....I'm still trying to recover from hearing the
"P" word a few hundred times.
Good content, but my ears are just not accustomed to hearing the "P-word" used so casually, and so frequently. I loved what the author was saying...but I cringed every time she said it.
This author is soo empowering! She is very frank and does not beat around the bush with her message. I loved that about her!
It doesn't matter your age, if you are having sex or thinking about having sex, you NEED to read this book!
If you assume men can only think of one thing, which is sex, and want to use their obsession with sex to manipulate them then give it a try. There may be some validity to some of the ideas, but I doubt that most women would want to conduct relationships based purely on manipulation and control tactics. As a mature woman I found it shallow, prejudiced and unfair. I also wonder what impact it could have on a teen aged or immature reader who might not have very informed social/sexual behavior judgments anyway?
I had no problem with the narration, it was the assumptions in the subject matter I didn't care for.
a few, in places it was funny, if you didn't take it seriously as a behavior guide.
i loved how direct, how forward it was. She wasnt afraid to tell it how it is.
the narrator. i found her sassy.
