This book has really changed my life. I will never look at life the same way again. In three simple words...BUY THIS BOOK!! Thank You very much Rhonda
Like everybody else that does self improvement...the comment of "LOVE" seems to be at the centerpiece of it all.
Message good, however the sound effects really put me off. Only 'just' got through the book.
Awesome book! If you thought there were gaps left by The Secret, this book fills them all in. Get it, listen, then listen again!! Very well done.
I listened to about a half-hour of this and I truly cannot listen to one more minute. It is singularly one of the most irritating self-help audios out there. Here's why: It is jam-packed with over-the-top ear-splittingly loud music and ridiculous sound effects that punctuate just about every statement the author makes. It reminded me of a children's record. The author would've had a much stronger audio with a quiet, contemplative background, but unfortunately her message was lost on me because of all the glitzy Hollywood in-your-face hype.
brilliant just as good or better than The Secret. must get or you don't know what you are missing in life.
more positive vibes, new angle on how to succeed! Love the lady! always cheers me up and puts me on track if I fall off!
Lavley amazing fantastic inspiring beautiful made me feel good about myself thank you I appreciate it!
"Some nice sentiments but a lot of BS."
Some nice ideas. Some of it was so silly I burst out laughing. (live until you are 600) So you regurgitated other people's work and gave it a catchy name. This is basically daft fiction.
I knew something had been happening to me recently and this helped me focus to realise what it was, I was being guided. it just helped me confirm things and showed me where I have been going wrong. it's already working :)
"great inspiring listen"
great inspiring listen. I hear something new each time and find just listening lifts my spirits. thank you
This is my first ever audible book and I really liked this. I would definitely recommend to Listen.
This book will change your life, for the better. Great follow on from The Secret
"MY MOST DISAPPOINTING PURCHASE EVER"
I bought it because of the strength of the recommendations but I cannot understand what they saw in it. I imagine that if you don't mind the endless repetition of banal and vacuous statements then this might be for you.
No but it has put me off all other books by this author. There are some excellent books on mindfulness and 'mind management programmes' (for example by The Power of Now by Erik Tolle to the Chimp Paradox by Steve Peters) but don't expect anything remotely comparable from Rhonda Byrne as you will be hugely disappointed.
Some of the music and sound effects were a bit cheesy but the performance was not really the issue.
Mainly disappointment that I could have spent my time and money on something more fulfilling and thought-provoking. Also disappointing that serious authors should have to compete for our attention with such a superficial work.
I agree with the tenets of this book - the power of positive thinking, the law of reciprocation etc. However they could be explained to the same level of detail in a few pages. Instead they are endlessly repeated without further analysis or evidence. My recommendation would be to listen to something more worthwhile.
"So uplifting. Love it."
I listen to this every day to and from work and I never tire of it. There's always something different I pay attention to more with each listen. Rhonda's voice is calming and the male narrator reaffirms key points. brilliant!
