I listened to about a half-hour of this and I truly cannot listen to one more minute. It is singularly one of the most irritating self-help audios out there. Here's why: It is jam-packed with over-the-top ear-splittingly loud music and ridiculous sound effects that punctuate just about every statement the author makes. It reminded me of a children's record. The author would've had a much stronger audio with a quiet, contemplative background, but unfortunately her message was lost on me because of all the glitzy Hollywood in-your-face hype.
This book has really changed my life. I will never look at life the same way again. In three simple words...BUY THIS BOOK!! Thank You very much Rhonda
Like everybody else that does self improvement...the comment of "LOVE" seems to be at the centerpiece of it all.
This book is really well done. I am reading it too
If you wanna change your life for the better het this
The 6+ hrs could very easily be reduced to 1.5 - 2 hrs. There are a few good nuggets, however, the presentation is way too drawn out..
Awful. This is the first time I've not been able to get through an audiobook, and especially when it's on my favorite subject. I thought the first 2 times I tried that it was the overly dramatic and downright odd sound effects or the structure of the book, but on the third try, I realized that there was just nothing new in this one. I've gotten used to listening to the Abraham-Hicks books on the same subject and thought this would suffice until the next Hicks book, but no. Save your money: reread The Secret and then graduate to the Abraham-Hicks material on the Law of Attraction, manifesting, serenity, etc. I hate to say it, but this book is kindergarten level by comparison.
I am a believer in the power of the mind, even to the extent where it starts to seem a bit magical. This book is a collection of stories and catchphrases based on the assumption that we get what we think about/focus on.
Starting off I thought it was a bit much but still okey. However, the book really lost me when the author in the latter part started talking about how "we used to live to be hundreds of years in the past" (based on a few characters from the bible), but had forgotten our natural health. I don't expect scientific from a book like this, but nor do I expect it to make up unsubstantiated facts as base of its theory.
The only reason I don't give it a one is that I support the underlying message plus that it is really well produced. The narrator (author I believe) is excellent, and I must unwillingly admit that the dramatic music and added narrators are effective at enhancing the message.
This is one of the best I have ever listened to
You want to remember everything in this book!
It is presented in such an interesting way with sound effects and music.
I wonderful reminder of how important it is to be thankful for everything we already have. In so doing we open up to recieve more. Also what you put out into the world is what you will get back. Put out good feelings you will attract good. Put out negative feelings you will get back the same.
I would hope everyone will read or at least listen to this book. It could change the future of our planet and our lives.
Just to add my experience from the moment I wished I'd have this book.First of all I was looking for the audible version so I decided to buy it in itunes and unfortunately I received an ebook by mistake which I simply was unable to view in my pc. Later on I contacted itunes and they refunded me but at the same time I found out about amazon's audible link so went ahead and bought it. Then I was thinking that wouldn't it be nice to listen it in my phone, while browsing I found that it only supports the new platforms like android , apple etc. But all of a sudden through few forums I found a link which guided me to the wireless link by which I was able to install in on my windows 6.5 version phone and since been enjoying it 'on the go'. It summaries the fact for me that 'if you really want something with love , you'll have it' ..still listening to it and can't thank enough to be lucky to have this in my collection.Really amazing & inspiring.
I have listened to this book over and over again the more i listen the more i understand the power ,this is an absolutely fabulous book. Highly recommend it
