An early work that doesn't show Robin's full value

I purchased this audio book after listening to Robin's free book on leadership (a book that I highly recommend you do listen to). Although The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari is packed full of interesting and useful ideas, I found the story to be simple and the dialogue to be almost anoyingly so at times. Still well worth the time to listen too and draw upon; however, the book failed to demonstrate the maturity of Robin as the presenter he is now.

Succint

This abridged version captures the essence of the original book succinctly. Noting has been missed. Highly recommended

If you are Indian

this is nothing new, we are taught these lessons, from childhood. Was hoping for more lessons of self discovery, but these were just a bunch of mantras, I already know.

Outstanding Read

This book had me drawn in from the moment I started listening. Simplify your life, focus on what will achieve your goals and live in the now. I found a true connection with the words of wisdom and probably like many folks have meandered thru life expecting good things to happen, not a good philosophy. We need to create a plan(s) near and long term, review weekly and focus only on things that will get you to your goals. And most of all, enjoy yourself along the way. I love to laugh and have fun and like to make sure all I do is enjoyable for myself and others. We all need to keep the "Inner Kid" in ourselves alive and kicking. That's what keeps us young and hungry for learning and improving ourselves. Thanks Robin Sharma for putting a fire in my life to make some changes for a better future and a better Now.

Good story with great tips on centering yourself

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari?

When he explains the Rose Meditation that to me was so simple but so effective

Love it but

This is a edited short version from the book. I tried to follow along and this was missing paragraphs. It is not word for word from the book. 😞
