Provided some good strategies relating to Positive Psychology. With the author as narrator his passion and energy shone through and added to the total listening experience.
I also bought the Kindle version for easy reference in the future.

To set the context, I'm a British enthusiast of personal development, and very much not a happy clappy type. I've seen the power of personal development, and have moved here from more of the traditional approach within leadership and management dev.
I'm about to start listening from the start again. It's without doubt the most engaging, readily implementable, uplifting and action provoking audible book I've listened to yet. Being narrated by the author, you get the intonation, emphasis and passion at exactly where intended, and the delivery is calm, entertaining and measured.
He hits the mark on so many issues; modern day research meets historical examples with incredible advice. Simply brilliant.
"Could have been 10 minutes long"
Blah blah blah it's OK but basically it could have been said in a few minutes and most of it is pretty obvious. He spends a lot of time bigging himself up.

This book has already helped me a lot with my depression. It doesn't set out to do any such thing, but I found the scientifically-backed ideas for being happier and enjoying work more couldn't help but have an impact on my mood and relationships. I've just finished it and I'm going back to start it again.
NoI would not read another book by Shawn.

Sharing his personal stories, summarising the nuggets of years of research, the simplicity of the model; all things I liked.
I would recommend this book to everyone.
I enjoyed his TED talk and this book did not disappoint.
