"He will make your journey one of effortless effort, joy and absolute fulfillment" (Mark Victor Hansen, co-creator of Chicken Soup for the Soul).
Dr. Demartini delivers a source of awareness about the universe we live in and the one we have inside. It has been a truly revealing experience I have not yet assimilated. I have listened to the audiobook several times, and every time I learn something new. Thanks you Dr. Demartini, you have changed my life forever.
Business owner , philanthropist.
All his books seem to have the same meat and different gravy. I would recommend reading "the Break through experience" its the best one in my opinion.
Not if it is not read by the author!
Yes, yes, and YES!
I bought this book after seeing the author in a TV interview.....I loved him, the way he spoke, his enthusiasm.....I expected great things from this audiobook.....unfortunately I failed to notice it was not read by the author---it was a most horrible read!! I could only listen for 1/2 hour, after that couldn't take it anymore.....
It would probably be a good book, if it was read by the author......
The Gratitude Effect is certainly one of the best audiobooks I’ve listened to, and I can confirm I’ve listened to many.
A simple message, timeless and one that we all know. Easy and pure – 'gratitude' is something we all need to apply to our daily lives for even the minor things we sometimes take for granted.
Dr Demartini - what an amazing and fortunate life he has had so far. I also really liked the references to his late wife 'Athena Starwoman' a fellow Australian.
I am now committed to seeing and acknowledging the great things big and small that I experience daily.
I'm very excited and looking forward to seeing Dr Demartini this Saturday 4th August in Sydney. This will be the first time for me to attend a Dr Demartini seminar.
I was a bit dissapointed that John did not read this himself. The narrator was ok, but you tend to link to the author when you have seen him in the movie The Secret. But the book does go into more detail and reinforces a great principle. If you are on a self improvement quest, you have to listen to this one too.
I am going to start by saying how grateful I am for having listened to this book. Thank you John for sharing your wisdom. I go forward today with the ability to be grateful for everyday I that I am. Thank you.
In my opinion this is the best of Dr Demartini's books. This book will help you learn to appreciate the present moment and your present circumstances, and give you the inner fortitude to deal with whatever life throws at you! You won't be disappointed!
what refreshing look at life, spirituality, and the key to happiness. understanding how what happens to you and around you is all for purpose. understanding to appreciate those situations unlocks so much joy and happiness - whether the actual experience itself was positive or negative... the situations always are of some service to ourselves, or others. one of my favorite books ever.
Great advice again from the Dr, great narrator, a joy to listen to. Love to hear the lost causes taken on the turnaround that the Dr has made in these lives. Left with the gratitude effect in my life and I can see how the bad things in my past have brought great joy in my present
This is a fascinating listen. Lots of stories and practical examples of how living in Love and Gratitude can change your perspective on life and take you to a place of wonder and fulfillment! This book has taken me back to basics and brought a real sense of balance back into my life, thank you!
Will improve the quality of your life. Say thank you for everything - the good, bad, beautiful and ugly.
"Expanded my perceptions of my gratitude habit"
I learned gratitude from The Secret and have used it for years now. This is a good refresher and good to expand on the subject to make you want to use it even more. I think the new content I have contemplated more since listening to this book, is the gratitude for the so called "bad" in life. The downside is there is sooo much marketing of his programme and material. I haven't heard another author do this and it turned me off the book a bit. But is still worth a listen I believe.
