Someone has finally "cracked" insomnia...

This is one of the best books on insomnia I have ever read. I realized that insomnia is really just fear. The fear of not sleeping is what creates insomnia. The author has worked a way around the mind-bending complexity of this disorder and she offers some practical and useful tips for getting better sleep. I can now say I am no longer afraid of not sleeping, and consequently I am sleeping much better.

Most helpful book ever

I have listened to this book three times in three weeks. I need all the help I can get. I have listened to three other books which were also mostly helpful, but this one is superior.
I feel so encouraged to keep trying to invest in the promises (not rules!). I find each time I listen, I needed to hear it again because my negative thoughts are so entrenched.
I have been telling everyone about this book. Thank you, thank you for this real, true, honest, and compassionate help!

Smart lady

She figured it out and put it all together. Her story is my story, but I I have suffered from insomnia for 40 years and this makes so much sense. I felt so alone and now I feel hopeful and so far good results,

very good

the story held my interest all the way through the end and the narrator was excellent. this truly gave some good tips on dealing with insomnia from a view point never before thought of. it gives hope.

THIS WORKS

I suffered from insomnia for years and years before this book. This method works. I sleep well and love going to bed now. Helps you take control of your anxiety immediately and start working toward recovery today.

This book saved my life.

Insomnia wrecked my world for over a year and a half. The authors ideas changed all that. One of the most important ideas is that: the primary cause of insomnia is the fear that you won’t sleep. I can only speak for my experience of course but if you have insomnia there’s a chance this book can save you.

Ignores science

One of the points made in this book is that quality of sleep is more important than quantity of sleep. This is false. Adults definitely 7-9 hours of sleep per night. This books makes the claim that most people can survive on 6-7. This goes against what the National Sleep Foundation recommends. Furthermore, science has shown that, when you’re sleep deprived, you are less able to tell how sleep deprived you are. Good sleep hygiene recommendations save this book from being a one-star book
