"Fair writing but dated and hard to navigate"

Aside from one early chapter that consists exclusively of rhetorical questions (what a bore to read... this should be in an appendix, not the main body of a text), the writing was good and the information was pertinent and pretty logically structured.
Unfortunately, the book hasn't been updated since 2005 and is therefore missing the impact of some pretty crucial events of the past decade. Also, for some reason, the 20-something chapters of the written book are condensed in the audio version to only 6 hour-long chapters, making it practically useless as a reference book.
