Other Reviews on the Book are Suspicious. Return!

I decided to give this audible book a chance based upon the rave reviews.

I got to the point where the author suggest the reader follow the same exercise plan he did and suggests to learn the technique from YouTube. I had to stop at this point. This is NOT good, sound advice. Everybody has different exercise needs. Work with a trainer to get proper advice for your body type and learn proper technique, especially if you haven't ever worked out at a gym. Do not blindly follow what worked for somebody else and expect great results.

So, I went back to the reviews that persuaded me to buy this book...

At the time of this writing, there are twelve reviews. There are four reviewers that have more than 25 books in their library--Three reviews have been members since 2001, but have 25 or less books purchased in the 14 years!!! That's hard to believe. Only three reviewers have written more than three reviews. These might be credible.

I do not think this is a helpful book for people wanting self improvement. I would recommend not deciding on buying this book based on the reviews here. There is something that doesn't seem right here. I would pass and find another book that has more credible reviews.

Total Waste of Time

This guy was tall enough and athletic enough to dominate at basketball. His family was rich enough to "summer in Madrid" every year. And he was smart enough to graduate college and work in I.T.
Somehow he managed to overcome all of these obstacles and become a confident male :|
And he will teach you how to be a confident alpha male also:
- work out and get buff;
- read lots of books;
- learn martial arts so you can kick butt.

....now you know.

Incredibly Sexist

If you enjoy books with lots of swearing and men talking about their balls, then this book is for you. Otherwise, skip it. The same advice can be found in plenty of other well written books.

Juvenile, derived, immature "advice"

A stereotypical, adolescent male approach to life with not much more than contrived anecdotes and a list of other resources of similar quality. I have no doubt the author thinks their insights are profound, but this is the mark of a young life.

Ignorant and Offensive

I genuinely regret having downloaded this book, and as my free credit. There’s no substance to this but the author expressing his desire to quit his job and “get laid”. I find this book extremely offensive for all genders.

Mediocre at best.

I didn't think the book was really at all about Alpha. More along the lines of just a busy self-help book. I would not recommend it.

David "Slays Women".

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

The title doesn't say anything about hooking up with women. That is clearly his main bit. Could be helpful for a young "bro".

What could David De Las Morenas have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

He is clearly a professional book writer that cobbles some junk together and sells it cheaply on Amazon/Audible.

Short with Great Rules

What did you love best about The Book of Alpha?

Made me feel normal.

I struggle with everything the author does.

It was a breath of fresh air to see that I'm not alone between a world full of self bragging small talk.

Who was your favorite character and why?

The author, authentic and straight forward.

What insight do you think you’ll apply from The Book of Alpha?

Well 30 rules I knew about but never thought about thinking about them as 'rules'.

Any additional comments?

Great job David (and Millian)!!!
