great place to start with Jim... great spot for Vetern Jim fan. Its great for network marketers and small biz entrepreneurs too!
I noticed so many concepts used by other self help authors that I think they all listened to:this right before they wrote their own books.
"Not worth the time"
This book contains nothing unique and is padded with banal anecdotes and bible quotes. The only thing of value was the constant talk on goal setting but this concept is far from original. If you're familiar with almost any other self-improvement books then the chances are Mr Rohn has nothing to offer you.
"What a life changer!!! A wealth of knowledge!"
Thank you Jim Rohn! I have gained so much from this book I can't thank you enough!!! Even after your death you're still blessing people!!! Thank you!!
I loved this audio book! I have read many personal development books but this is up there with the best! I highly recommend it!
Jim has such a great way of inspiring thought and motivating action. Brilliant series...if you followed this template you would truly have an exceptional life!!
I was expecting more based on the reviews but there is almost no major insight or depth to any of the advice given.
If this is your first book on self improvement it will give a good overview of how to approach the subject and what areas to focus on. Unfortunately it doesn't give any depth on the subjects making it more of a checklist of where to start looking.
Jim Rohn's delivery of the content also frustrated me. It may just be his accent but the phrasing and emphasis in the delivery just annoyed me, probably just personal taste though.
This book is a top read for those on a upwards journey. It has astonishing insight into the realm of personal development which is broken down in into simplistic terms while not being reductionist. The only down point, for me, is it wasn't the easiest to follow. Nevertheless, it is a top notch book and well worth a read!
"Needs to be listened/ read at least once in a lifetime"
Great book to get you started on the way of self improvement. A must have in every respectable library.
"You'll learn a lot"
Somehow Jim Rohn really knows how to get you to take action. His ideas really help in redefining your life ambitions and philosophies. It's a great listen.
