©2016 Book Summary (P)2016 Book Summary
It was hard to understand the reader's accent. Some parts repeated, making the storyline a little unclear. The book, itself was a good summary of the real book. I think I would rather get the original audiobook instead.
This audio was the only disappointment I've had with their products. The duplication of sentences was very annoying and it was a shorter amount of time than represented in the review. Maybe that is why there were repeats, to lengthen the time.
Listening on the way to work and back, enjoy inspirational and intriguing books - biographies that inspire and books that make me think.
Great option to reading the whole book. I just wanted to get the "gist" of it and a few tips! Narrator seemed emotionless - inflectionless, flat and just reading to get it done. Several times repeated sentences. Of course there is no story line anyway.....
"Interesting but didn't like the narrator"
I found the narrator difficult to listen to. I found her voice irritating and felt that had a negative impact on the book. The subject matter was quite interesting and time will tell if the techniques are successful.
I was grateful to have this summary rather than read the whole book, mostly found it useful and full of common sense but took away a few details I'll consider further
"Great book, very poor recording"
This is a frustrating poor recording with repeated narration errors where the reader, at times, has three attempts at completing the sentence. Marie Kondo's message is sadly lost in the delivery.
"Badly narrated (not edited)"
I have this book and it's brilliant. I thought this would be a good way to refresh on the concepts, but the narrative has not been edited so every time the narrator makes a mistake she repeats herself (sometimes 4 times). She does have a nice soft tone it's just a little frustrating.
