Michael Beckwith teaches that inner spiritual work, not religiosity or dogma, liberates us. He draws on a wide spectrum of ancient wisdom teachers such as Jesus the Christ and Gautama the Buddha; contemporary spiritual luminaries Thich Nhat Hanh, Sri Aurobindo, and the Dalai Lama; and Western contributors to the New Thought tradition of spirituality such as Emanuel Swedenborg, Walter Russell, and Dr. Howard Thurman to create a profound new belief synthesis.
Either read silently or aloud, Spiritual Liberation can be included during meditation or prayer. Each chapter includes an affirmation that distills its core concepts into a sentence or two for the reader to easily practice throughout the day. Beckwith's personal and touching accounts guide the practitioner to integrate and activate the intrinsic gifts of divinity into everyday life.
The core concepts of Beckwith's teachings are cohesively conceived and convincingly stated in the provocative chapters of Spiritual Liberation. Topics covering "Evolved People", "Transportation to Trans-formation", "Transcending the Tyranny of Trends", and "Inner Ecology" are some of his foundational teachings that bring together insights from a range of spiritual paths to form a coherent practice that is neither Eastern nor Western but truly spiritually global.
Regardless of their belief system, readers will find it impossible to finish this book without at least a few "Aha!" moments.

I was pleased to have received all that I had expected from this audio book. Dr Beckwith has truly helped me to continue on my path of enlightenment. I listen to this book often, over and over. And each time, I discover tools for overcoming egocentric thinking. This is indeed, spiritual liberation!
This book was really liberating. I enjoyed the book so much I am starting a discussion group to discuss the ideas in the book. "This is a must have" for everyone especially people that have children because if you liberate your thinking you pass that idea or way of thinking to your children and our children are our future. Please love yourself enough to get this book for you and everyone that you know and love.
I loved this book! I found some very helpful gems (ie: the difference between improvement, change and transformation) and was extra blessed to be hearing the voice of this dynamic teacher along with beautiful wife. I will be listening to this many times for continued clarity and inspiration!
Dr. Micheal Beckwith is one of the world's leading edge teachers. I am grateful for this book. This book offer a pragmatic aproach to spiritual evolution.
Michael Beckwith really delivers! He radiates great love. He allows you to see what you're worth without having to think you need to earn it.
His wonderful uplifting affirmations at the end of each chapter. Great ways to start your days in the morning and before bed time.
Just learn to become what I want to be.
His affirmations are magical
I am new to Beckwith in general so this was my first exposure to him, apart from the Secret. I have found this book to be filled with great insights and concrete suggestions that are doable.
My one problem with the book is that Beckwith ends each chapter with an affirmation. The problem is that the affirmations on the audible book are about 5 minutes each, with some cheesy music coming in after the first few sentences. I'm actually a big fan of affirmations, except when they're run on sentences and combined with cheesy music. Don't let this stop you, however. Just warning you to expect this. The rest of the book is top notch.
In general, like all audible books, the Chapters aren't named and don't translate to the actual book chapters. I don't know why they do that but that's not the author's fault.
Totally recommend this book.
This book and its message were exactly what I needed and I received them at the perfect time! I had never read Michael Bernard Beckwith before and his message was strong and clear. Definitely presents an opportunity for further spiritual growth.
I devoured this book. So deep, inspirational and motivating. I would listen to it to start and end my day. The reflections or meditations gave me a boost of reconnection to my deeper self. My only negative comment is that I had to listen to a section twice as it felt rushed because I needed time to process the content. Nonetheless it's my go-to book when I need a pick-me-up.
