How does a New York City publicist and party girl turn into a go-to guide for the next generation? In her new book, Spirit Junkie: A Radical Road to Self-Love and Miracles, Gabrielle Bernstein shares the story of how she transformed her life, offering her spiritual journey as a guidebook for overcoming fear, changing perceptions, and creating a life you’re psyched to wake up for.
Bernstein has traded self-doubt and addiction for a new kind of high. In 2005 she became a student of A Course in Miracles and since then she has been guided to teach those spiritual principles to the next generation of seekers.

"In this mixture of humor, grief and how-to instructions on achieving enlightenment, Bernstein offers more than just autobiography or a user’s guide to meditation.... A groovy blend of meditative and instructive writing." (Kirkus)
All the information about the awareness of the ego and the guided meditation of forgiveness were and are crucial to creating peace and divine healing. Very powerful and meaning book and tool I will use in my coaching sessions with clients for transformational personal branding sessions
Years ago I picked up a copy of A Course in Miracles. I found it heavy going and difficult to follow. Gabrielle distills the course into bite size bits that are easy to understand. I thoroughly enjoyed this reading and the information is so useful, I'm going to listen to it again and follow Gabrielle's suggested exercises and meditations.
I ate it up or heard it all up :) like many, this book was guided for me to read. love how the author shows her vulnerabilities to teach and relate, I can see her transformation into a humble guide
This is a great book to read. She unfolds her life story and teachings she has learned through her life very well.
Though, the way she reads the texts really sounds like reading a text book. Ive seen her youtube videos and there she can talk normally, and actually her speeches or talks are very engaging to listen to, but this book sounds like a robot.
This is my second audio book experience so I'm no expert, but Gabrielle Bernstein communicates her points in a way that is very personable; easy to understand and identify with.
She has an interesting voice and speaks like she would if you were having a face-to-face conversation.
All of them! She drops a lot of "truth bombs" throughout the whole book, so I found myself thinking "Dayum! Now I understand why this happened!" or "Wow! That's why I do that!"
It's a relief to know I'm not the only one going through these things.
I have Gabrielle Bernstein's book "May Cause Miracles" on Kindle and have been going through all the exercises on that as well. I'm thankful that she has taken the time to share her experiences and information in such an open, honest, and approachable way.
i loved the spirit of the book and how it uplifted me. i listened to it everyday when i was driving.
It's very helpful to know that successful people were also struggling and how they have changed their lives. So this story helped me understand better where to go.
That was just what I needed that moment.
