it's a pamphlet

I can't imagine I actually fell for it. audible should have some qualifiers before they list something as a book

Very little substance...

Most of this book is about why speed reading s a good idea. Entirely too much time is spent on that subject for a reader who was already invested enough in the idea that they purchased the book. I was disappointed by how little substantive advice and techniques were discussed, and felt like (just my opinion) I could have done an online search and found the same info myself for free. I could not recommend this book in its current edition.

Interesting reading

Very helpful, informative, and right to the point. No BS. But what are the key words for speed reading? Adjectives and adverbs seem to slow you down. I can see that. OK, and the verb would be the middle. Scanning away from the middle should land you on the subject and or the predicate. It would be a logical move but understanding logic is another cann of worms to open since the meaning can change depending on how to interpret logic. And in moods and feelings where logic is defied, the author could be expressing a whole gamut of emotions way out on the left field instead of the right field. Reading in the speed of light can land you on the moon instead of earth. It's one of my fears I have faced before. Context is important, Yes!. And practice makes better. I liked the book and the subject and everything in-between.👍👍

I began perusing/utilizing this book

I began perusing/utilizing this book and saw an adjustment in my perusing speed right way. I would prescribe this book to anybody from an understudy, to an expert that requirements to peruse for work, or an individual that just appreciates perusing.

This book showed me how to speed read. I currently feel like Neo in the wake of taking a red pill. With special case of pacers, I delighted in everything else in this book.

It was the absolute first book

It was the absolute first book on the rundown. In the hindsight, it was an amazing plan to peruse it before some other books on my PMBA list.

Fantastic helpful book.

A progression of fascinating procedures to help improve your understanding rate. Not 100% sure that they are for the most part worthwhile, however there are a few jewels in there.
