A complete waste of time and money

There are a number of problems with this title.
1-The title does NOT, i repeat it does NOT teach you how to improve the number of words per minute that you read.
Instead it "teaches" how to decide what to read. for example, one piece of advise is: "if you are not looking for a job or to buy anything dont read the classifieds"
2-this brings me to my second point about 90% of the "information" is common sense. for example, take a break every 15minutes. and look at the table of contents to decide what you need from a particular book.
3-this book encourages you to SKIM not speed read. you know skimming, looking for bits of info that pop out at you till you find what you need. this is a really stupid "skill" to teach in book about speed reading. the point of speed reading that you WANT to read ever word you just want or need to do it faster.
.
In all...DONT BUY THIS audioBOOK it will not help you read faster!!
try: "breakthrough rapid reading" instead.

Good for knowledge workers.

I had this title on tapes and found it very helpful. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to study or learn written material for work or school. Unfortunately, they can only lay out the blueprint for HOW to read, but can't make you do it! Most of what you would learn is available in the pamplet (see link below title for free download). But I would still recommend getting the audiobook to flesh the points out and for the repetition learning you get from audiobooks. In my opinion, these techniques work best for non-fiction. Get the book to learn why....
