Ok ok....We get it.

I read a lot of books pin this topic, because "relationship" books intrigue me. However, this is just the same verbose pattern this author ALWAYS uses. There is nothing new here. If you read one book by this author, you have read them all. Many women put up with this behavior from men, who shouldn't. If a woman can't spot a narcissist, then she should read more books that are psychology based, not based on the AUTHOR'S poor dating experiences.....which are a large part of this book. If a woman wants to change her dating habits, I would suggest to read "The Tao of Dating". At least that focuses on the WOMAN'S need for change and how to do it, not focusing on the MAN'S faults. I believe this is a waste of time and money for women, or any reader for that matter.

Is it a doctor or a just a resentful ex talking?

What disappointed you about Self Centered and Narcissistic Men?

It looked like to be more a resentful 'ex' talking angrilly about her old boyfriends than a serious couch giving soothing advice.

No.

Hits the Nail on the Head!

Where does Self Centered and Narcissistic Men rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is one of the best books I've listened to!

What other book might you compare Self Centered and Narcissistic Men to and why?

I've listened to several of Dr. Lyn's audiobooks -- this one is most like Controlling and Manipulative Men: How to Spot Them and Handle Them.

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

Now I know what causes men to be overly self-centered and narcissistic and I know how to handle it when it happens!

Any additional comments?

I'm so happy I found this book when I did! I really found out how to spot self-centered, self-absorbed men right away. I've read a few of Lyn Kelley's books on relationships and feel I have grown by leaps and bounds due to her honest, straight, real information. She writes like she is talking to her best friend. I especially liked her "narcissism test" so I could see how men rate on the scale. I feel so much more confident in dating now, and I'm not wasting time with men who are wrong for me. This was worth more than 100 times the cost of the books to me. I highly recommend her books.

REALLY solid insight

Where does Self Centered and Narcissistic Men rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is one of the better self-help books I've encountered. Don't worry that it is a "lightweight" on content -- it is well organized and STRAIGHT to the point.

What about Lyn Kelley’s performance did you like?

She is compelling because she shares personal experiences in addition to providing her experience with clients in a professional setting. She is clearly an advocate for women. The reading can be halting in places, but nothing distracting enough to mar the excellent information.
