Publisher's summary

In her newest book, Allison DuBois explains that the lives of people aren't much different than those of monarch butterflies - that we wouldn't be the people we are, make the choices we do, and, in essence, live the lives we lead without the friends and family members that came before us and have passed over to the other side.

If you want to understand life, you must understand death. In Secrets of the Monarch, DuBois shows how communicating with the dead has taught her important lessons about life and how listeners can apply those principles to their own lives.

Although we are all products of our predecessors, DuBois stresses that every person's life is part of a bigger story, stretching past family and friends to neighbors, community members, and society as a whole. By making the most of your life now, DuBois says, you can positively affect that story. It is your legacy to pass the fire in your eyes and heart to your children, your siblings' children, and your friends' children.

After all, if you already know that the story will end, why not make the content a true masterpiece?

Uplifting and living with purpose

I liked, no loved the book. I am grateful Allison Dubois wrote this book, even though now I have more to feel sad about when I reflect on how My parenting skills were lacking. On the other hand she has opened me to increased clarity and strength for living with purpose in the present moment. I am recommending this book to everyone, but especially wish my sons would read Secrets of the Monarch.

A Good Reading

I love these books! They are informative and entertaining to listen to. It helps me feel validated and always teaches me several things that I didn’t know exactly how to do and several more things that I was already doing but I couldn’t get past certain areas due to my racing mind. Alison is amazing and I am thrilled to read her books! I do recommend!

Secrets of the Monarch

Wonderful book. The content was very inspiring, helpful, and comforting. Really wish the author would have read it. The narrator (Renee Raudman) read it like a kids story with voices, which, for me, was hard to get past to hear what the author was trying to convey. Otherwise would highly recommend!

Becoming Médium

I was a fan of the TV show Medium and I never believed that I could be one. Until I went through a life-changing experience, the first thing I did was think of Allison. I finished this book and after several incredible experiences and other very hard ones, I feel a greater commitment to the community. I always remember a phrase that says those who have power, protect those who do not.
